This is the future. Pizzas served fast at £7 max. Tried them all and never been disappointed. The best fast food in the city.

Cheap pizza served up fast. I’m not much of a fan of the slightly biscuity based, but for the price, this is a pretty good place for a quick lunch. The pizzas are around £6, are ordered at the counter, and then you’re given a buzzer that will let you know when it’s ready to collect. The place gets fairly busy at lunchtimes, but the queue moves quickly.

I discovered Pizza Union right on the doorstep of work almost and I’m so happy I hadn’t found it sooner or else I would be the size of a house! Superfast pizzas for between £5& £7 and they were so good. I’ve even made a mental note so that I know what I’m going to have next time and there will definitely be a next time!

LOVE Pizza Union! I was apprehensive before coming here as it seemed to be too good to be true– 12inch pizzas under £5 in central London?! I got the classic margarita for just £3.95 and it was beautiful– thin crust, fresh tomato sauce and a generous amount of cheese, perfect. And then desert. A pizza dough ring stuffed with Nutella and marscapone. I worried they’d be stingy on the filling but no, Nutella oozed out along with the creamy marscapone in exactly the right proportions. The dough was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I can’t recommend this place more. Cheap, quick and high quality, a rare find in London.

Really good pizza and surprisingly cheap. Only con is that it’s really hard to grab a table on a weekend, so I definitely don’t advise coming with a large group. Will definitely be back!

Pizza is love, guys. Last week we decided to pay a visit to Pizza Union in Spitalfields, to get some cheesy, tomato-y, dough-y goodness and see how their ‘Superfast’ tagline holds up. Speed Unlike your usual city restaurant, there are no waiters and waitresses to take your order or bring your food out. Instead, you order and pay at the counter then take a small piece of plastic that buzzes and flashes when your order’s ready. And from ordering to recieving our pizzas, it took around 7 minutes. Taste We ordered up a Vesuvio(pepperoni, green chillies, cracked chillis) and a Carne(beef, chicken, pepperoni, onions). Toppings were full of flavour and fresh-tasting. The fire-baked bases are VERY thin with a super crispy crust. Considering the speed and price of the pizza, the quality is actually very impressive. However, drinks-wise I’d avoid the house white as it’s not that great — stick to beer or soft drinks. Price The prices at Pizza Union range from just £3.95 for a Margherita up to a maximum of £6.50 for ones with lots of toppings — which is excellent value for eating out. The rest of the menu is kept simple — with three variations of side salad(£2.95-£3.95) and three fillings for a warm dough ring dessert(£2.95-£3.95). Beer’s from £3 a bottle, and wine’s from £3.20 a glass. Total cost for two of the top end pizzas, a basic salad, garlic dip and two drinks was £21. Atmosphere With wooden tables, neon lights and exposed brickwork walls, Pizza Union Spitalfields definitely has a bit of a hip, ‘Shoreditch-y’ vibe — except it’s actually pretty much slap-bang in the middle of the corporate, suit-filled city. Heading in on a Friday night, it was lively but not overcrowded and we managed to find a table easily enough. Pizza Union have got casual dining absolutely sorted — offering quality pizza at affordable prices. Perfect for a quick lunch if you’re working in/visiting the city, or just a fun evening out with mutually skint friends.

Dear Amazing Pizza Place, Where have you been all my life(in London)? Your food is delicious and your price is amazing. If I have to be honest, you are a perfect stop over from going between cocktail bars. But also for office people who want a quick bite to eat before heading home or during the lunch hour. You are the perfect specimen for elegant efficiency. I think I love you. Seriously, this place does amazing pizzas on the cheap. You can customize your pizza, add toppings and it’s super cheap for being in the center of London. I am definitely coming back in the near future… possibly with a date… possibly on my own(it’s that good).

Amazing pizzas at a low price, what else can I say?! come here quite often when meeting friends and when everyone is keen on something quick but nice as well. I recommend trying the dessert pizzas. They are quite yummy but made for sharing!

Personally this is my favourite pizza joint in the city. Not only are the crusts thin and crispy and the toppings fresh but for the price of no more than £6.50 a pizza it simply cannot be beaten! My personal favourite is Stagioni as I’m greedy and it’s like having 4 pizzas in one, but the carne is also excellent! A few pointers: 1. The olives are great! 2. Definitely have a salad on the side! 3. Drinks selection is limited so don’t go expecting a luxury glad of wine. 4. There’s no table service but what there is is some seriously speedy pizza making Enjoy.

Just nice pizza but really cheap prices for London. I have been there with a friend and my partner and each of as had soft drink + proper pizza for something like £8/9 The service could be nicer but that is what happens in places like this, where you don’t have to give tips; they just don’t care.

Really unfortunate that these franchises aren’t suitable for vegan/vegetarian/halal/kosher eaters. Unfortunately the cooks don’t wear gloves or wash their hands regularly and are constantly contaminating vegetables by touching meat all the time. If they had one cook who does vegetables and cheese and the other does meat then that would solve the problem. Customer service is 1st class and pizza tastes great

Great pricing and scrumptious pizza, the perfect combination. Pizzas are made to order, so you can freely customise yours, and freshly stone baked for you. At busy times there’s quite a wait, but it’s very much worth it, the pizza tastes amazing!

Baffling how this place maintains super low prices on their high quality fare – personal(yet quite substantial) pizzas(£4-£6), bowl salads(£3-£4), and bottles of prosecco(£15) and white(£11.50). Though I am not a pizza fan, this place serves up a variety of great options in a trendy yet very casual atmosphere(order at the counter, grab a pager, and take a seat at a communal cafeteria-like table). A slightly longer wait during the busy times, so plan accordingly, but it’s worth the patience and you can snack on small containers of nuts and olives while waiting. Outdoor seating is a wonderful option in the warmer months. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and you can get a hearty multi-course meal for under £10.

Crowded with locals. Because tourists don’t seem to know of it just yet ;) run by friendly Italians, the pizza is delicious and cheap! And that dolce with mascarpone and Nutella… It wouldn’t stop oozing out. So good. For a meal just short of £7, I’m so glad I got to try this place out

The trouble when a place has stellar reviews like this is that we tend to expect too much. I love pizza even though usually it’s deep-pan that floats my boat. I think the mains here are incredible value for the City(a filling margherita for £3.95) and the desserts are pricier but intriguing(I had the salted caramel/peanut dough ring — a bit goopy with dough, but lovely to try). I came here with a pregnant friend and they even reheated her pizza for her(she eats very verrrrry slowwwwlllly!) So a full 5 stars for kind staff and ambience. I think the quality of pizza is not the absolute best but still 4 stars — and quite Italian in style. I’ll happily return and sample some other combos and update my review…

I love this place. Awesome atmosphere, excellent food and good prices. So I used Unilocal to sniff out a decent pizza place in central London and it didn’t disappoint! The pizzas are freshly prepared and cooked with a good selection of topping available and all for £6 a pizza — sorted! The choice of drink is good(anywhere that sells Birra Moretti gets a thumbs up from me) and again reasonable(for London) prices on the bottles. The locally produced gelato is amazing, I highly recommend the coffee flavour. Also on the menu and defiantly worth trying if you haven’t before is the Dolce ‘pizza’ which is a dough filled with Nutella and mascarpone, cooked then dusted with icing sugar and cocoa powder(think a sweet Nutella mini-calzone) — oozy Nutella heaven.

Wow. How have I lived within spitting distance of this place and never eaten here before? It’s fantastic! 1) Cheap and beyond cheerful. Pizzas are about £5 for a generous 12 inch personal thin crust pizza. Get a beer or glass of wine plus olives to nibble and you’re still under £10 all in. Great value. 2) Fast. My pizza was lovingly made within minutes and came out hot and crispy. 3) Lively. Open seating and loud music makes this a fun weekend dinner with friends. 4) Spacious. Big bonus points for Spitalfields ambiance without cramming you in.
