This pub does some things right and some things wrong in my opinionwhich is why it gets an average mark.
Right 2 uncommon real ales in decent condition. Comfortable seats and a good location near tower bridge.
Wrong bad music and no matter where you look you can see a TV. This is good if you want to watch something but is kind of distracting if you are just there to chill and chat.
Overall they are on the right track. I could certainly see myself taking in some sport here. Not sure what the downstairs cellar bar is like.

This is definitely one of my favourite pubs to go in London as it has an excellent combination of my favourite things; food and music. It is a great venue for open mic nights which take place every Wednesday and I have seen some brilliant acts for a less prominent venue.
The menu is great with good veggie options and although it sounds dull, the soups are gorgeous and the burgers are also pretty good! They also serve a great selection of wines — particularly the Rose.
The décor is simple but homely and the staff are great — the guy who served me was on his very first shift and the manager was superb at showing him the ropes — we all had quite a good laugh together at the bar!
