Rush

Ridiculous price for a basic 15 minute cut — didn’t even wash or clean up face/​neck after the cut. Left there covered in tiny hair. Staff act as if they’re too cool for the place.

I’ve been coming to Rush Camden for 6 years now and it has never let me down! Edra is excellent in choosing hair colour for me. I told her how I would like to look and she picks the perfect colour for me! Once she wasn’t available but I needed my hair done for a job interview, I went to a rival salon (equally well known) and I had the worse experience. Since then I always book in advance to avoid disappointment. Also the hair dye in Rush is very good quality and it didn’t dry out hair as much, unlike he hair dye that the rival salon used on me Hats off to the master hairdresser!

Ridiculous prices for a cookie-​cutter haircuts. I found the staff really annoying, practically acting like they were too cool for their customers (come on guys… you’re just hairdressers) I walked out with a boring haircut which was badly done.
There are far better places to get your hair cut in Camden… If you want to pay a lot to look like everyone else then I suggest you go here.

I started going to Rush when I moved out to Camden, it is fine its not the best salon I have ever been to but they get the job done. The problem is the way the prices are laid out what may seem like an inexpensive cut becomes quite expensive when all the extras are added in. I have had one cut and one colour correction and I was always satisfied but never «WOW-​ed». It is probably one of the safer places to get your hair cut in Camden so that you don’t come out with pink spiked hair, a new piercing, and tattoo. They are really great about fitting you in as soon as they can which people with busy schedules will appreciate, and you get your fringe trimmed for free between cuts if you are a client.
