We did the all you can eat deal for £16.80, which essentially has unlimited sushi plus several additional options of hot food. I wasn’t sure about this because I don’t like sushi, but gambled that there would be enough other stuff to get full. In retrospect, I think it would have been a better deal for me to get a starter and a main, which would have been cheaper and probably filled me up the same amount, but it was nice and sociable to try things together. Also worth noting that they were fine with my friend not doing the all you can eat — she ate off the menu, which was good because some places wouldn’t trust you to do this and make the whole group eat the same thing. Food-wise, it was pretty good — in particular, the chicken katsu was so crisp and delicious, and I was also a fan of the gyoza. The service was slow and forgetful — although they obviously meant well, we had to ask several times for items(drinks, sides, the second round of food) and there was an error in the bill. I did warm to the wait staff but it didn’t feel very professional. I think they are quite new, so maybe things will improve once they are more experienced.
