I don’t know why there’s not many reviews for this place. We went here for the grilled spicy black cod which were marvellous (and a bargain as far as black cod is concerned!). As the order took 30 mins, we also ordered the tofu salad and the crispy salmon skin roll. Both were amazing too! Would highly recommend this place and really pleased we moved 10 mins away from it. The place to go when we have our black cod craving.

Took five friends here for dinner — wonderful sushi and food but let down by the abrupt service. We did enjoy the food though and would go again — waitresses need to smile a bit more! Great Value as well…

How come no-​ones reviewed this place yet?
It’s always busy and looks to have regular customers too, of which I would sort of consider myself.
Great sushi though knocked down a star since the last time; the other week I had my favourite salmon skin rolls and the avocado was a bit mushy.
Try the hot appetisers they really are good particularly the asparagus, tofu steak and tuna tartar.
Not bad value either

Friday night is busy from 8pm. I phoned and booked. We had sushi, the spicy beef and fried chicken special. It was all good. Service was efficient given the place was full.

First time visiting this restaurant since the South African owners sold Boombar several years ago. And the good news is that on the basis of this visit, it’s every bit as good as Boombar was
We had a big snack type meal — salmon teryiaki; California roll; prawn, fish and vegetable tempura donburi; soba noodle soup with tofu and spring onion.
Every dish tasted freshly made with fresh ingredients. The rice was cooked just right, the tempura was light and crisp and the sushi excellent.
I’ll definitely be returning (but have to admit that I wish Wow had opened up next to Boombar so we could have them both).
