A hidden gem in the Shad Thames neighborhood for locals or tourists alike! Surely overlooked due to all of the restaurants along the waterfront, however if you’re looking for a casual meal with amazing food, this is the place to check out. Came here for dinner with family visiting from out of town on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised to see plenty of available seating(a little unsettling at first, but tasting the food put that notion to rest…) We were greeted throughout the night by an over-the-top character who I can only assume was named Giuseppe or Vito or something cliché’d Italian, but in the best way possible. He seemed to take genuine interest on how our food was and made helpful recommendations when ordering. 3 of us got pasta, myself the Mushroom Ravioli in a heavenly creamy and buttery sauce, yet didn’t feel overly heavy. Good portions, quite reasonable price given what you’d get at one of the other big Italian chains in the area like Pizza Express or Zizzi. Do yourself a favor and go the extra 50m off Shad Thames to check this great restaurant out!
