Nothing special food was ok. Thought it was pricey paying more for the location.

the don”, as luka bradsi died with his tongue out, he wouldunt be thinking about the food at the don, its a bit churlish to review another chefs food being one my self but somethings just have to be said. the don has a café at the back in horsley down lane once famous for all the prostituts who worked this street but now a good capachino can be had with bacon & bannana toastie very tasty, seved with out to much fuss so good so far. but a few weeks back i had a meal there with my mate. what a disater we ordered bred & olives but cardboard & dried chewing gum balls arrived. my starter of sour cheese & soft tomatoes with deep fat fryer oil dressing it was interesting. My frend had chicken livers in thick sauce. we then both had veal(yes i know, but when in rome) three triangles of dried pre cooked then frozen then reheatred in the microwave, or that was how it seemed to me but then it could have been cut of a fresh peice of meat & lightly sauted in sage butter. why triangles? but then i only eat one mouthfull in half an hour. the waiter took our plates away withnout comment as if this was normal. there is allso a club up stairs, which is really good a great addition to the london bridge scean,.They the owners have spent a lot of money on the club flashing lazer lights, good sound systerm etc… a good night out to be had by all. £10 entry for men the ladies go free, don giovani on the door in his stay press suit was a nice touch. the don is a big venue with lots going on from the 1970s italian food to the modern 80s style club & the working mans café. but still worth a vist plenty of fun to be had!!. just dont go dressed as the good farther the old days are long gone.
