Soni’s PIzza is highly recommended — anyone looking for pizza delivery in the Merton area should definitely check them out.
They have a huge menu of pizzas — 35 unique topping choices — so it took a while to decide. Luckily they have a variety of meal deals that meant ordering two pizzas would not break the bank. We ended up with the ‘Family Feast’: two large pizzas, one side, free garlic bread and a large bottle of soda.
We got the ‘Rustica’ (Mozzarella cheese, gruyer cheese, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes & artichoke: YUM!) and Mexican Feast (Red onion, chilli beef, Mexican chicken & jalapenos). Both were very impressively laden with ample mozzarella and very good toppings. I was very pleased with the Mexican Feast which was truly hot and spicy. A Mexican person would be proud of this pizza topping! No need for the usual hot sauce there. The chicken wings were a very high quality, which is often a very risky order from a takeaway place! We had the BBQ wings and they were amazing.
Only disappointment was the garlic bread, which is ‘free’ for a reason, as it was soggy slices of baguette with some sort of garlic sauce on. Good for bird feed however…
Definitely a firm favorite going forward, updates to come!
