I went there this past weekend and spoke with one of the guys running the shop. Very friendly, patient and did not recommend bottles of wine outside of my price range. Can’t wait for a tasting event! Thanks again!

Spirited Wines is my new go-​to place whenever I need a bottle of something for the evening. If you’re lucky, you’ll be helped by an animated Frenchman who will excitedly steer you through store’s concise collection of wines. His faultless suggestions are more likely to include a lesser known region or second growth grapes, rather than the most expensive bottles in the shop. Unlike the salespeople at a wine shop further north on Upper Street, staff at Spirited Wines don’t make you feel like you’re interrupting their day with the tedious chore of recommending a bottle when you walk through the door. This is a welcoming, approchable wine store with passion to spare. I will keep visiting arguably too often.
