This franchise is probably the best I have come across in London. The manager is fabulous and strives to learn the orders and names of customers, allowing there to be a nice homey feel when you enter or leave. Love this branch!

Definitely not the best frap I’ve ever had. But they did write ‘Bunny Boiler’ on my cup which was excellent.

Your typical Starbucks with a newly refurbished interior. There’s lots of seating areas and everything is new as of June 2012. The staff is friendly and quick which is the preferred experience when getting your coffee on the go. The location is good and convenient to local shopping in Balham. The food selection at this store is fairly limited however you’ll find most of the typical goodies offered by Starbucks everywhere. This store is spot on in the Starbucks brand and I always enjoy properly executed brand environments, y’all. Cheers!

Been in a couple of times now to use the wireless Internet, which is ok but slow at times. Service has been quick and prompt, and they do keep the place quite clean. There is air conditioning too, but only two plug points for laptops so check before you order if you’re looking to be there for a while! The London Insider

Good clean store with good coffee. Food is just ok, and over price. I’ve found it’s worth getting a rewards card. With it you get free wifi if you need it plus free extras like an extra shot etc. In the afternoon around 4pm it gets very busy with prams and loud babies. Even pram-jams at the end of the counter.(Seems the bigger prams have the right of way)?

It’s an indictment to Balham when Starbucks has the best coffee on(or just off) the High Street. I became a regular as it was the most consistent brew I could find. Staff are friendly, couches comfortable and clean and a good place to escape the weather or high street pedestrian traffic. Food is overpriced(I don’t bother with that), but the coffee does everything expected of it — caffeine hit, warms you up and gets you ready to get back out there.
