OMG — Considering the prime location i would have expected better… Staff seemed ok if a little non– attentive but the place was filthy even though it was quiet. A member of staff walked past dirty tables to go and clean the outside of the door-window! I went to the toilet and it had faeces spread around the bowl, I told the staff and they said okay, thanks — and that was it… I took my leave and won’t be going back to this one, no wonder it was quiet…

Opposite the British museum it is well located. Inside seems thin and very narrow with limited seating, but a staircase at either end opens up a downstairs cave of seating featuring different seating types. Everything else standard about this Starbucks. Oh yes it takes your Starbucks reward card!

Just a quick one here. The staff are super Starbucks friendly which is great. I’d usually avoid Starbucks as I prefer insomnia at home but this was handy. I need to commend them on possibly the cleanest sneeze guard I’ve ever seen-on their pastries! I know it’s a strange one, but honestly I didn’t realise there was even glass there until the cashier had to read in behind to get something. Bravo Starbucks, bravo

Sehr schöner Starbucks direkt beim British Museum.

Small store of course but moved line through quickly. Accept your starbucks app for payment too. More seating downstairs if crowded. Couldn’t connect on wifi though.

Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. I don’t really care for Starbucks’ insanely decadent coffee selection. I don’t care for the way in which some nation-non-specific tourists waltz into this particular one and get rowdy over their orders because a black & white trenti iced latte with 6 extra pumps is an artform none but they have mastered… but the location of this place is insanely convenient, being right across the street from the British Museum. The baristas here are lively, friendly and polite. Just try to be patient during frappy hour when the head barista likes to pedal those frapps like a pimp and won’t take no for an answer. He looked heartbroken when I told him for the fourth time that all I wanted was a large Pike’s Place drip. Wah wah. I guess I’m that boring. Incidentally this is where Gabriel Nkweti Lafitte works and displays his Starbucks cup art. You’ll see a row of them lined up behind the counter where there should be neat displays of bottled diabetes inducing syrup. It was pretty cool to walk in here and see that behind the counter. This Starbucks gets very very very busy. The queues can be very long, it is loud all the time and it’s even busier during frappy hour. So if you’re the kind of person who’s just coming in for a Continental sized macchiato or an espresso then there are various coffee shops along this road as well as two coffee vans inside the museum courtyard where you won’t have to explain to the barista what a macchiato is or receive nonplussed gawks from nation-non-specific tourists who are wondering why there’s no caramel on your tiny English sized macchiato. However, if you want a venti Pike’s Place for £1.95 and the freedom to sit inside for 5 hours on that one cup of coffee, then this is Starbucks so please feel free. Also… free wifi!

It is a Starbucks. What you’re going to get is Starbucks. This one is right across the street from the British Museum, so it is very busy with tourists, but it does the trick and like most Starbucks in London, has free wifi. Though the upstairs is rather small and narrow, there is a basement level with more seating.

This place gets BUSY, so prepare for a long line of tourists. Other than that, you can expect your usual Starbucks niceties, same as anywhere else in the world.

What a totally convenient(and mindnumbingly frequented) café, found across from the greatest museum ever: British Museum! Loved the find – incidentally, why does google maps have them listed as British Library! err. that’s over on Euston, which they *also* have as the British Library! Coffee is just fine for all of the blustery weather they get, and it’s convenient to grab snacks or what have you in the way of being a tourist. And greatest thing is, they DO accept the American Starbucks gift cards. Loading up the $ in the US was a good idea at the time, though the Euro does remain weak! Great caffeine load zone before undertaking the Museum. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one with such a fancy!

Right across the street from the British Museum, this is a standard-issue Starbucks. Coffees and pastries, sandwiches and salads in the cooler. There isn’t a whole lot of seating, so if you’re able to grab one, keep it. As usual, there aren’t enough electrical outlets, but I was fortunate to find a seat within reach. Wi-fi worked just fine. Nothing special, it’s Starbucks. A-OK.

I guess not a lot of people walk past this one going into the city … my favourite Starbucks to head to in the morning… regardless of what time I get there(between 8:30 and 8:45), there has NEVER been a line. In fact, I’m usually the only customer in there. No line = great for me. AND, they are always SUPER nice and even walk out from behind the counter to deliver my drink to me! My coworker and I went here once after work to grab some caffeine before heading to a pub quiz and one of the baristas totally hooked it up with these mini filled donuts! He gave us 2 each to try… how sweeet! Great service and never too crowded. win win situation.

As Starbuck’s go, this one is hard work. Really hard work. It’s right opposite the British Museum, which means that a speedy coffee fix isn’t going to happen when there are four groups of tourists in front of you. None of whom can decide what they want. That, coupled with the fact that the service was really slow, meant that I’m not a big fan of the café. It fails more to location than anything else, but I think next time I’ll find somewhere else a little less busy.

This is a really great starbucks! Fitted into a nice building, with interior decour that I quite like, along with the service, atmosphere and quality, this is one of the best starbucks’ I know. All the drinks are brilliant here, as is the food. It’s all served to you by a brilliant kind staff too. The atmosphere is great(quiet, cosy, nice music ect) and its a perfect spot to sit down with a book, and spend a rainy afternoon. The bathroom is always clean, and the staff don’t mind you using it without you being a customer!
