I love the area around Kew Station which still has a lovely village feel about it. The Breadstall fits in well and seduces with its large selection of fresh bread in the window. Inside the cabinet is crammed full with filled sandwiches which seem popular with the locals on their lunch break. My friend and I decided to eat in, sitting on a massive shared table. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite deliver what first impressions promise. Apart from the fact that the rolls were simply plonked on a cheap paper plate, they were also rather tough and not crusty. What a shame!
