This seems to be the only food option you have once you pass through security to wait to board the Eurostar. So they have a pretty good monopoly going and there was a queue accordingly. It’s a little better than standard train station fare of the exact same baguette option EVERYWHERE. They had a couple of different croissant options and then bacon and sausage baguettes for breakfast. Sadly nothing healthy at all really, except sad little fruit pots. So we got a bacon baguette and a ham and cheese croissant and a coffee. The queue moves pretty fast due to all the food being pre-prepared. It’s definitely not cheap. My croissant was as good as you’d expect. The sausages in the bacon baguette were thick and pretty tasty so they didn’t skimp there. Needed ketchup though. Very dry. If you want something not carbo-loaded, arrive early and buy food in the rest of the station. BADCOFFEE.

1315 S. Congress Ave. (512) 441‑0202 This music club has been a staple in Austin’s music scene since 1957. It began as a hip, private supper club and grew into Austin’s first burlesque club in the ‘60s. It continued to book great acts over the decades(including Stevie Ray Vaughan), and in the late ‘80s, the new owner designed the club to look like it did in the ‘50s. The Continental Club usually features swing, rockabilly, country, and retro roots music, but it attracts and welcomes all types. Many great local acts perform here.
