I have just moved to London and desperately needed a good haircut for a first day of work tomorrow. I looked up reviews of reasonably priced barbers and decided to try The Legends, and legends they shall become!
I am a simple man, but most barbers I go to try to put a contemporary style to my hair, no matter what I say I want, not to mention, they spend so long doing it. Jack at The Legends nodded, said «no problem,» and 13 minutes 23 seconds later my hair was exactly the way I wanted it.
This was my first hair dressing experience in London, and they will remain my only hair dresser in London as I believe I, for once, hit the pot of gold on my first try.
Looking forward to my next cut!

I received a fantastic haircut from Livia, a supremely talented barber. I asked for a graduated, sissorcut haircut; 1 inch at the back and the sides, 3 inches on top with a side part and that’s exactly what I got. Delivered in a technically brilliant way. Consultation and explanation all the way through. The best cut I’ve received in London.

I was in London studying and needed a haircut. So I decided to look for a barber in the area.
I went in for a walk in appointment and said I wanted a haircut. I was seen pretty much immediately. The man began to cut my hair and it seemed to take a long time. (I was thinking «Oh gosh! What is this guy doing?») But in the end my hair looked absolutely fantastic. And even better about 2 to 3 days later once my hair settled.
Only problem is I feel absolutely horrible I did not tip the guy. I was new to the new United Kingdom and was not sure about tipping policies for hair cuts. I tried watching other customers when I was getting my haircut and none of them seemed to tip. But I feel that the barber definitely deserved one.
If and when I am in London again I will definitely go to this barbershop.

The first time I went to Legends, I’ll admit, wasn’t the most convincing. If you judge it purely by result they gave me a great hair cut, but the guys methods seemed a tad unorthodox and erratic. I can’t remember what his name was, and I guess it doesn’t matter because I came out looking good (oh the modesty!)
This time, however, I got Darius who was really friendly and very professional indeed. A wash and cut cost me £17.50 — which I rounded up to £20 (oh crikey how generous of you!) — I know it’s not much of a tip, guys, but I’m not exactly earning 6 figures. If I was I’d have tipped him 50% to be fair, the cut was excellent and his attention to detail was meticulous.
It’s been enough to cement this place as my barber of choice for the forseeable future — you should definitely check it out.
