Now this is a fun spot! I was visiting some friends in London and the 2 bars we had been to beforehand this past Friday were kind of boring, I was ready for some music and dancing and this definitely did it for me! The bar tenders were friendly, drinks were decently priced, bathrooms were clean and it was my bday at midnight and the bar tender wished me a happy bday and either she or someone bought me a shot! I go to clubs because my friends go but I prefer bars yet I don’t like to just stand around, I like to dance. I don’t need a designated dance floor but the Tavern was a perfect combination of all of this. The Dj this past Friday was also fantastic playing all of the greatest hits! I come to the UK every few years, I’d love to live in London so hopefully I’ll be back soon and make it back into the tavern!

A really well turned out pub. Just along the road of Ealing Broadway, toward the common is this little place. From the exterior it feels like it should be sporting some shisha pipes and cushions. There’s some good outdoor seating, half covered by canvas for those wetter but warmer days and a good space inside. This bar looks good, clean, trendy for the area yet comfortable and intimate. The bar has a good selection, Moretti by the bottle. It’s main draw is its cocktail menu. Expertly tailored and exquisitely executed drinks. No doubt the bar staff are a talented lot. However, it’s a place a tad on the pricey side and doesn’t have many more draws. When I think night out for cocktails, I don’t think Ealing. The food, by the look of the Menu looks rather nice. A good Meze selection which was rather large in portion size., however the more ambitious meals fall through. A friend had something chicken-y and it looked(and apparently tasted) foul, bit of a waste of £11. Although it’s nice enough, it’s just that little bit out of the way and a little bit meh to draw me back on a regular basis. However good for groups I think, and always better than it’s neighbour, Wetherspoons. No contest there.

The Lodge has good nights great if you want a local experience, prefer the lodge to some of the other clubs in the Ealing area. Drinks are affordable and the service is quite slow but extremely friendly. The lodge always gets packed on fridays and saturday nights so it can get to stuffy inside.

Was taken to The Lodge by some friends who go here reguarly. Nice place to go to on a warm evening, big outdoor area and excellent range of cocktails on offer.(will have to come back during 2 for 1 time) Very ornate décor which was sort of hunting lodge but part japanese gardens. The night I was there they had live Jazz playing which was a nice way to end the weekend on a Sunday.

I am quite surprised that this is in Ealing so its not too far for me to travel. The first time i went there was 2 months ago on a Sunday night where a live jazz band was playing acoustically. It was the best vibe I had in ages. Was with a group of my friends and we managed to find seats and had our own space. The décor is very boudoir so it gives that intimate vibe. Toilets are lavish with wooden furnishing and even a Venus de Milo statue! The staff were very nice and didn’t leave anyone waiting. the cocktails are fab and they have their own customised names such as the Mr Whippy, the raspbomb and sweet as a nut and amongst others! The prices were moderate but the cocktails glasses were too generous. I have been here twice on a Sunday and is recommended to go here especially if you want to chill out. It would be suggested to reserve some seats near the front just so you can get a good listening to the band. The food is absoluetely fulfilling. I tried the oyster mushroom and chicken risotto and cannot wait for my next serving. Hoping to grab the recipe off them just so i can make it at home.

Full of the bright young things of Ealing, The Lodge made me feel quite old when I first visited it. I have since been back a few times and the owners have realised that whilst Tarquin and Jemima are quite pleasing to look at, they only come in when back from Oxford or Cambridge(or Harrow/Eton) and the slightly more mature, but none the less still trendy elder clientelle are a better bet for all year round profitability Serving nice nibbles and good booze, the staff are fun and super efficient. The décor is half hunting lodge half something else, but all in all, this is a welcome addition to the nightlife of Ealing.
