Have eaten here a couple of times now when visiting London. I like the location near the Tube station and also the layout and décor. Food is really good — this time, I ate the lamb rump dish which a few colleagues also had, and we all loved it –really above average for pub food! Really recommend having lunch or dinner here if you’re in the area.

Highly recommend to everyone. Went here for birthday drinks and loved the garden area. Staff were really friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Good selection of food and drinks. Will be coming here again.

Being a Met Film student, I pretty much lived here. Its the preferred pub for my former school. Good beer and cider but the gem of this place is the outdoor beer garden. The inside of it is cozy and very intimate without being too romantic. Bar staff is cheerful and helpful. Food and drinks are expensive but hey its London! Prime pub food if you can afford it. If the Brits had a Cheers bar it would be The Grove.

A nice place to have a get together with friends although I wouldn’t recommend going on a date here as it gets quite loud. The beer garden is large and very popular and is really delightful to sit outside in the summer. The food is always good. My only complaint is that the drink prices are quite steep and the prices for soft drinks is quite unacceptable. Toilets are well maintained and bar staff are friendly and efficient no matter how busy it gets. No late license here, closes at 11 most days, not too sure about Sunday evening closing times.

This review is mainly going to be about the chicken fajitas. The fajitas deserve the lion’s share — they were great, and I grew up in Texas so I have strict standards for Mexican food! They were a little bit anglicized in that real Mexicans would serve them with five or six small tortillas, and The Grove serves them with three gigantic ones. But that’s not at all a complaint, since you get more tortilla this way anyway. I won’t even eat fajitas in the US when we’re more than about 1,000 miles from Mexico, yet right there in Ealing I was eating good tex-mex food. Miraculous. Anyway, we really liked this place. The food was great and the atmosphere is amongst the best I’ve found in London. Everyone else in my party liked their food and drink too, and the prices were very good.

The main reason I love The Grove is the garden area. One of my favourite places to drink with friends in the summer. It is relaxing and green. But the garden is not the only one plus, the service and the food complete my 5 stars for this pub. Everything I tried so far is delicious. It is good for the winter too, the inside area is cozy and warming. I strongly recommend The Grove.

Why oh why do you have to be a Greene King! It was refurbed in 2010 and according to their GK profile is ‘shabby chic’. It is. Plenty of topsy turvy tables and chairs in the main bar area. A tidy and attractive restaurant seating out the back and sooo much front and pack patio space you’ll think Greene King are the showroom for a patio tradesman. It’s a great pub. Just opposite a green in the heart of Ealing its the perfect place for a post shopping bevvie and bite to eat. They’ve got a great selection of spirits, beers, ales and wines. And I mean a great selection. The food is a little lacking on the vegetarian front, but if you want onion rings, wedges(basic pub grub) than it offers that with a little extra flourish. Good pub.

It’s a little hidden gem this place is! Really nice people behind the bar, good selection of beers, seriously good food and wicked decore. It actually feels like home.

Formerly Finnegan’s Wake, The Grove has been transformed into an altogether friendlier venue, where the eating experience is equally important to drinking. It’s a great place to have Sunday lunch, though they don’t have a carvery.

Huge space, good variety of beers and wines. We did not eat, but the menu looked pretty reasonable. There is a nice outdoor space for nice days as well
