Struggling with the rating as it is more like a 3.5. The location is awesome, in this charming mews which for spring/summer would be a great I believe. Inside it is just like any other typical pub and the food was average. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this pub again but I can’t stress how lovely the outside surroundings are…

This was a great little pub. We came here the day after Christmas. My husband had the fish & chips and I had the parsnip soup. Both were excellent! My only gripe was that it was a little on the busy side and it took a while for them to get us a menu after we were seated. Overall a great place to go for some good fish & chips.

I went here on a recent trip to London. It was on my list of places to visit and I had to try their famous Sticky Toffee Pudding. I took the underground and walked a little bit to find it. It was a Friday night and was pretty busy. I walked in and tried to find a spot but there weren’t any tables available. I tried to see if there was seating at the bar but there weren’t any bar stools either(Maybe it’s a UK thing?) I eventually was able to get a table and shared it with two lovely women and finally got to dig into my pudding. It. Was. Amazing. It was so awesome that every spoonful I took made me want to order one more so I could take it with me and eat it over and over again! They don’t give it to-go, though. I asked. Do yourself a favor and go get some Sticky Toffee Pudding here. You’ll love it. Just go on a night that isn’t too busy!

Very friendly services I only stopped In for a couple sneaky pints but I would definitely return. The pub has a very chilled atmosphere and you can hear yourself think.

This was the first pub I made it to since arriving in London. And the atmosphere was great. Very busy and everybody in good cheer. Good beer(alas, no IPA).

I am thankful my friend and I stopped in for lunch today. The food was tasty and the service was nice, though the bartender was quite adamant we not enter before the stroke of noon. My friend quite liked the burger special — plenty of food from what I could see. I had the baked brie and raw vegetables and though it was good, I found myself wondering if they could of done something slightly different to make it more interesting and less like the raw ingredients had been thrown on the plate… After all I could do that at home, where i there. The place is tucked away off the beaten track which accounts for a pleasant atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and perhaps if I visit there again I will order something different give them another try.

«Hello Love» Those are the first words the bartender said to me when we walked into The Queen’s Arms. Instantly I knew we had picked the right place for our first meal in London. Besides being absolutely and completely charming The Queens Arm’s offers up an impressive drink list as well as delicious pub food. Hubs ordered up a local beer and a classic fish/chips dish and devoured it. I selected the Chicken & Leek Ham Hock Pie(think pot pie) with the creamiest mashed potatoes and superb veggie medley. Mmmm so good! And so filling too. both meals were really good on the portions. The two rounds of drinks we had were pretty excellent too. I’ll go back to London again just so I can have another first meal at The Queen’s Arms.

Overall good meal. The food was super quick and the staff was very nice and accomodating. The highlights were the 3 cheese flatbread and the sweet potato fries, but all the small plates were tasty. The pub quickly filled up around 6(after work hours) — and for good reasons. The alcohol selection was impressive and everything one could ask for in a local London pub.

What a wonderful pub. Why are all the great ones hidden away? We had delicious salads and small plates. All fresh, perfect size, refreshing. The fish and chips looked crisp and so tempting. Cannot wait to go back. Bright and clean atmosphere in a quaint old pub. Just what we needed.

Place is terrible. Ordered the 5 wing(says the menu) small plate dish, it came out with only 4. Told the server and she said that 4 was correct, I asked her to check the menu. She then comes back and says the chef says if he thinks the wings are big he only serves 4! Ridiculous! Avoid this place! They are out of several taps as well!

Wow! Best fish and chips ever! Really crowded today maybe because of clapton’s gig at RAH. But the staff were amazingly nice, and the locals in the pub were too. One amazing lady even dragged over two stools for us to sit at the bar.

We went to the Queen’s Arms for Sunday roast based on the recommendations on Trip Advisor. While the service was«casual»(as in most pubs), the food was outstanding. Wonderful chicken in a sauce so good I sopped up every drop. It was served with roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and fresh peas. One of the top meals during a 3 week trip to the U.K.

Found this thanks to Unilocal.Great little pub packed with character and a great range of ales. Menu looked great as did the food I saw being bought out. I didn’t eat here as it was just a quick pint. Will come again, a great find

A dimly lit pub in central London, I certainly shall return to the queens arms. This place had beers on tap, friendly/helpful staff and a good burger. I ordered the burger with bacon and fries, it was a bit small for my hefty American appetite so I ordered an extra helping of freshly made homemade onion rings. It was packed on a Tuesday night so I can only imagine a Friday or Saturday evening. Despite everybody chatting the pub never got loud. With limited time in London I heard that this place was good and decided to try it out. I left satisfied. I’ll certainly come back here with friends the next time I’m in London.

After a long day of travel and arriving at our hotel in South Kensington, my husband and I looked for a nearby, quick dinner option. So glad this place popped up in our Unilocal search as most nice sit-down restaurants were crazy busy and most pubs stopped serving food at that time. We ordered a couple rounds of ales on draft that we hadn’t tried yet after our travels in Cambridge, plus the following for dinner: There was an awesome bar food special of 13 pounds for any three out of around five options(a few were out). We got thick-cut sweet potato wedges, «baked brie»(actually just warm with caramelized onions on top and bread on side), and whitebait(amazingly my new fav complement to beers, as they’re little, crispy and surprisingly meaty fishes). We split an entrée of oxcheek and kidney«pie» — it was actually mostly meat with a puff pastry on top, which I prefer, that came with side of mashed potatoes(for some reason, a bit cold), and a side of roasted veggies. Very filling! Lastly, we split a dessert — a large order of profiteroles covered in chocolate and caramel sauce with salted caramel ice cream ice cream — loved sweet /salty combo but this was completely too much food. The bartender/server immediately suggested it first-off so we just had to follow up at the end of the night. Service overall was very friendly and bartenders know the food and beer, even with one of them having just started about a month ago. Vibe is a definite hangout for locals. Would return if we could!

The Queen’s Arms has lovely food and a calm atmosphere should you be looking for a great haunt on a bright Saturday. The menu is well thought out and executed well, and the staff are warm and attentive. A great spot to visit if you are heading over to the Royal Albert Hall and need a bite to eat and a pint ahead of time.

On the recommendation of our bus tour guide, we came here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing. It was a little hard to find, but I’m glad we didn’t give up. My husband got sausages and I got fish and chips and we shared a plate of meats and scotch eggs and assorted other tidbits. Everything was delicious! There wasn’t really a waiter/waitress, but the guys behind the bar were really nice and despite sitting at an odd small table by the back door, the arrangement was actually pretty charming. The only downside to the night was a drunk 20-something woman loudly singing opera at random times throughout the night… Definitely an experience, though!

Over grilled chicken club and pan-flavored burger. Fries were undercooked and unseasoned.

Definitely a local place and one that’s NOT full of tourists. That was the main appeal I found while enjoying a pint. The bartender was quite nice and explained to me the beers that are kept on a lower temperature than others. I ordered the traditional scrumpy cider and it was very tasty. The food looked like traditional pub food with fish n chips and bangers and mash.

Ich hatte in «The Queen‘s Arms» 1980 meinen 35. Geburtstag gefeiert.
