I’ve been coming to this pub for years off and on. It is «up the back» of Haven Green. The first thing to note is that if you are coming from said Green you should walk past the first pub(name always unknown) and head into here. It is a Fullers pub, but they usually have some irregular ales like Bengal Lancer, which I’m drinking right now. At the back is a nice restaurant area. It’s some years since I eat here so can’t really comment. The rest of the pub has a sizeable bar and lots of seating. It’s stripped walls and Chesterfield sofas with a nice cosy atmosphere but still seems«pubby». More importantly, it doesn’t have hideous TV screens and although I’m here on a Friday night(waiting for friends) it is busy without being stoked. If you are looking for a decent pint in central Ealing it is a very good option.

Ah, a Fullers pub. I never use to be a fan, but all my recent good finds have been Fullers. This is a lovely local pub which like quite a few Fuller pubs in Ealing as that Tardis effect of being bigger than you expected when you step inside. If your looking for a pub in Ealing, this one is just a little out of the way and in more residential areas, but its a lovely little pub. The staff were super friendly. The manager/owner was in and serving us, which is always nice to see. They were very informative about drinks and food on the menu and offered recommendations, but without being too Sales-y. Opting for a pub lunch, the Mrs and I decided to dine here. I had a veggie burger of mammoth proportions and she had the salmon and capers. The picture doesn’t look very appetising, but I assure you it was all rather de-lish. Good selection behind the bar with Star on draft. Drinks come in their brand appropriate glasses. Overall a friendly atmosphere full of locals, in a good way.

Brilliant local neighbourhood pub! Lunch was awesome, good menu selection, plenty of seating and all in all, one to return to!

Excelent little pub, one of the best in Ealing. It has a more cosy and dare I say more welcoming atmosphere than the Haven next door. It is the kind of pub where you feel comfortable sitting on your own with a pint and a paper. For major sporting events there is a projector and a couple of TVs although don’t count on any of them being on, even when you really expect they would be. Generally this is sit and socialise more than sit and watch TV. The alley to the side has tables and heaters for smokers/people who like the cold and rain. On the down side(and why it only has 4 stars) is that the bar staff can be phenomenally grumpy; almost always looking like they would rather be somewhere else. However I put this down to the fact the bar manager is a total twunt rather than the poor staff who I suspect just can’t keep their dislike of their boss hidden from the customers. Oh, and I should mention the food is excellent. It’s pub fare but well above the average standard and reasonably priced. Well worth looking up.

I love this pub. It is my favourite in Ealing. It is out of the way but friendly, small and they have board games. I know it might seem silly to a lot of people. But a pub with board games usually makes me think people spend enough time there that they want to play a game.

The only thing going against this place, is that it’s beside one of my favourite pubs, The Haven. That said, it seems to have a great bunch of regulars and always seems to be busy. Another FS& Turner pub, so the Pride is good and ESB better when it’s on. I once went in there when the England Rugby Union Team were pplaying and they had it on on 1TV… I went next door and the Haven had it on on about 34TV’s.including 1 big screen and one poutside in the garden. so that’s why it only gets 2 stars from me.

I like this pub. It’s not particularly old(or, if it is, it doesn’t show). But it’s friendly, large, has a mix of small tables, benches, room for eating in the back, and some tables in the alleyway outside. They show some major sporting events, but the TV isn’t always on. It’s a Fullers pub, typical for Ealing. In summer they sometimes have a BBQ running outside for burgers and such.
