Wok To Walk- Great Windmill Street

This is a chain of quick wok fried Asian fusion. It is pretty good for a quick cheap meal. I wish we had some in the states!

This is the new location, after the Brewer St one closed. It’s more of a stall, with basically 2 or 3 stools if you choose to sit in; that’s it. Gone are the benches and tables and space — if there are more than 3 people in here at once, it feels rather crammed!
The food and the idea is still great. You pick a noodle or rice type for a base of £3-​fifty-​something, add as many ingredients (which vary in cost of course) as you like, then top it off with a sauce of your choosing. Basically, build your own noodle box!
As with most of these places, the quality of ingredients vary, but my multiple trips have allowed me to work out what I like. The pork has been chewy a couple of times, and the mushrooms never seem cooked properly; and this lets Wok to Walk down a little. But on the other hand I’ve found the duck and the chicken to be delicious every time, and the pepper mix is a good addition. Of course, the more you add the more you pay — I tend to keep it to two additional ingredients. My favourite sauce is the Bangkok (curry coconut) with the Saigon (garlic and black pepper) a close second. Pro tip: top your noodles off with a spoonful of the chilli relish before you leave for a delicious kick!
The fact I keep returning and continue to feel satisfied, puts this place well above its competitors in the area. Recommended if you choose your ingredients well, keep the price down, and go when it’s not terribly busy.

The food is avarage, but if you orders specifically 3 times for not include an ingredient, which you are allergic, and the cooker asks you a couple of time as well for that you could expect to not found any on your box. It didn’t happen, found tons of them which includes an instantly throw the box to the bin. Totally disappointed.
