Pleasant experience. Kids loved the sushi belt. We chose to eat the chocolate mochi and dorayaki which were the kids favorites of the day. They charge by the bowl colour and the bill does not mention the food’s name. I think it is a really cool thing. You can eat what you want but there is no need to tell what you ate!;) The bowls with rice and chicken were good. The prawn rice bowl would have been good if they served more than 4 prawns for £4.50!

Hated this Yo Sushi despite being a longtime fan of Yo Sushi as a whole. We came mid afternoon and there were very few things on the conveyer belt which was understandable so we ordered things off the menu instead. There were only 3 other tables but everything took a ridiculously long time to be made and a few things seemed to have been lost en route to us. Not really much of a problem, these things happen. It wasn’t ideal but we lived. The worst things about this restaurant were the kitchen and the loos. Generally Yo Sushi has a very clean fully open kitchen but this one had a kitchen that was anything but clean. Pots and pans caked in what looked like months worth of burnt on food as well as stove tops that were dirty. A bowl of raw chicken thighs sat on the counter right next to our table for the entire hour we were there. A chef with a huge beard but no hair net covering it. It was all a bit too much for me to bear. The loo was in a terrible state too which made everything just seem that much worse. I’d give it a miss. There’s another nearby at the Southbank. It’ll be way busier but at least it’s cleaner and there’ll be loads of freshly made stuff out on the belt.

I tried the chicken teriyaki with rice for lunch as recommended. It has a small portion but I thought that was enough for me. I love how the rice tastes really good and they didn’t overdo the teriyaki sauce. It tasted just right and the price is really affordable too. Would definitely come back and try others on their menu.

I think I’m a little bit in love with Yo Sushi at the moment, so cheap, quick, convenient! Etc etc! I got the chicken katsu curry to go and it was only £4.80 and tasted amazing! Decent portion size too! Whooo! Hooo!

Terrible. The worst sushi I have ever had in my entire life. Sushi from markets are equivalent(or better) than this place. I will not go in to further detail about this place. Just avoid it. The sushi chef’s do not seem to be professionals and authentic sushi chefs… as a result… everything is just cut up fish(dry fish).

Pleasant staff, correct food… But mostly, what a fun to looknat the rolling belt to find your meals, and sometimes looking something specific that could come ;-) … A nice place to be! Seb Delcampe,

Yo has really gone downhill. I used to quite enjoy going but was really disappointed with the service and the food today. The place was virtually empty(all the other chain restaurants on southbank were busybad sign really). but we were left standing waiting to be seated for ages, the other people in the queue behind us gave up. When we did get a seat we were ignored, even when we used the buzzers. Staff were off talking in groups or eating their own lunch. Tuna Sashimi was slimy. Avocado maki were browning, just not a lot of love or attention for anything on the sushi belt. It wasn’t awful but I’ve had much much better sushi in this price range.

Großer Laden einer guten Sushi Kette, jederzeit frische Nachbestellungen möglich, ideal für das gute Sushi zwischendurch! Wenn wir in London sind, gehen wir auf jeden Fall einmal zu Yo!

Sorry London-ers not trying to burst your bubble, this place was sub-par/mediocre. But any place that has a revolving sushi bar is fun for me. I think it’s the anticipation of waiting to see what’s coming down the conveyor belt next or hoping for a specific item :) A little on the pricey side. The rolls & ngiri were heavy on the rice. I personally love a ton of fish but I know that it’s suppose to have a good ratio of fish to rice, but this place was like 20⁄80 in terms of fish/rice. They did have some good hot items like the yakisoba & gyoza & the desserts were good. I had a Japanese pancake filled with egg custard with a side of raspberry sauce that I almost went for twice. Cool things were the water tap right @ your seat, so no waving down servers for refills & the help button that turned a red L.E.D. light on above you with a woman’s voice saying, «mushi-mushi».

This restaurant is great! A really unique idea that makes eating sushi even more fun. The food is served on conveyor belts in different coloured bowls(the colours represent different prices) so it is really easy to choose your food as it passes you on the belt. Some foods you have to order especially but they do come quickly. All food is prepared fresh and you can see them preparing it. The food also has the time it went on the belt and they remove these if they are out too long. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if you have never tried sushi before, let this place be your first, you will like it!
