I had not been here for a while as the last time I went the service was poor, however this time there was only two of us and it was great. I have a couple of food allergies and they were able to accommodate these. I had the wheat free spaghetti with arrabatia sauce. It was lovely and tasty although I did have to use the mouthwash after as it was quite garlicky. We decided against desserts but we’re delighted when we received complimentary Limoncello. Great service and great food would recommend.

I’m a big fan of Italian food — which is lucky as there are a fair few chain restaurants about. Zaza is one of the smaller ones, but with a menu that feels properly Italian. Of course it has some of the more Anglo-Italian dishes like spaghetti bolognaise etc. They have a decent weekend meal deal, and I’ve got no particular favourite menu item as they’re all good. Would choose this place over the likes of Prezzo almost every time.

Zaza is a great little chain of 8 restaurants in the NW London/Hertfordshire area. The pasta is really nice and feels much more authentic than other larger Italian chains. I’m a big fan of the giant pasta shells stuffed with pesto chicken and pine nuts, and smothered in a creamy sauce, topped with rocket. I can’t ever finish it but it reheats well. The staff are accommodating and helpful. I like this branch in Ruislip as it’s near the Duck Pond market at the Great Barn(twice a month on a Sunday).

The food was fresh and tasty. Service very good. And a good variety of wines on the menu. No complaints at all. Have recommended this place to friends
