A lovely meal as always. Great peri peri chicken with lemon and herb flavouring, spicy chips and a salad. Staff are quite friendly and very attentive to guests. The dining area is good, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this Nando’s if you’re visit the Manchester Arndale.

This Nando’s can get very busy as it is located in one of the shopping centres in the centre of Manchester. When you are greeted, the staff asks if you have Nando’s before. If you haven’t, they will give an explaination of the menu for you. They will then take you to your table and give your table number. You use this number to order your food at the mail till point. When you order a chicken you can have it from very hot to very mild. The two mild flavours are lemon and herb and mango and lime. You get a choice of side orders too, which include corn on the cob, chips, coleslaw etc. If you never been to Nando’s, this is a good place to start. Don’t forget your loyalty card!

I love the quick service at Nando’s and the fact that it is within the mall. This is so millennial friendly for sure. My nephews were able to shop and eat where they really want. I liked the veggie wrap here and I tried the fries as well. The food delivers when u r hungry. Host was quick and welcoming. Good for vegetarians and meat lovers!

Nando’s in the Arndale… I have been put off visiting here for a while; it is normally filled with heavy queues of guests, hence I have gone to other branches but I have been here 2 times in the past week or so, and not had a wait to be seated. They seem to be far too overstaffed, with some of them walking around like headless chickens. It is a typical Nando’s, a quieter nando’s too musicwise. The dietary book was poor quality and coming apart, they was no offer for a manager to come over and see me, which they should have done and it was coming apart. The food tends to be Nando’s standard, up to a good quality with a few downsides. The chicken is nice, but in some parts, it did taste far too chargrilled, to the point it was a little grilled, which ruined the skin, that I usually like and in some parts I found that the chicken didn’t taste as good quality. Most of the chips on both of my visits were nice, but the odd one tasted like it was part raw but this was only 0.1 percent or so of the chips. They have a good range of Perri Perri Nando’s and Heinz sauces to go with your chicken. They isn’t alot of seating, with seating across 2 floors(not really any seats upstairs), which needs to be improved for a very large store. This is probably one of the best Nando’s stores in Manchester, but still some of the pricing, especially for the drinks(£2.60 for a 330ml Iced tea and they sell a big 1L bottle for £1 in Tesco of a different brand) — This just proves they are out charging people who don’t want the fizzy drinks that are refillable. I feel 3 stars is fair because it is mostly good but they has been a few minor problems, and hopefully I can upgrade them to 4 in the future, but for now, mainly due to the burnt chicken and dietary book problem, it is a very low 3 star rating.

Yes. We really love Nandos so much so that we frequented both Manchester branches. It’s the exact quality of any other Nandos. That is the grilled piri piri chicken. Love that they also offer So. African cider and wine on their menus. Service was always fine here.

Very popular branch of the ever-more-popular Nando’s. Great chicken dishes for a bit of a price and usually quite busy so expect service to be slower than usual but definitely a good place for food after a shop at the Arndale Centre.

the nandos in the arndale is so nice, i’ve visited a few times and the one in the arndale is my favourite nandos in manchester to eat out at. it doesn’t take long to wait for your food and it is always cooked perfectly, the atmosphere is nice and the staff are really friendly. going at busy times of the day can be daunting though, as you may be waiting 15 – 30 minutes for a table. it isn’t enough to put you off though as it is definitely worth the wait!

I am in agreement with the reviews below. Nandos is a fast-food restaurant in shallow, albeit fairly convincing, in traditional restaurant’s clothing. Nandos is basically the next step up from the lowest on the chain and as much as it tries to hide it, it is primarily for people who normally dine within McDonalds or KFC up in the food court but are feeling like ‘splashing out a little’. That’s in no way a snobby response to Nando’s and McDonalds or KFC for that matter, it is just the way that they go about acting like a restaurant. Me and my wife had never been before and thought we’d give it a shot. We were perhaps expecting the equivalent of a chain-pub kind of deal, but it was actually more like a production line of taking as many orders as possible for was is in effect, chicken in an actually quite dull sauce. It was also a matter of cramming as many people as possible into one fairly small place. That same dull sauce is the one that apparently separates them from everyone else, but to be quite frankly honest, if you’re going to base your business on one idea, make it a brilliant one. The food was ok, but as I say, dull and surprisingly expensive for what you’re getting. One to avoid.

On the surface Nando’s sounds like a good, simple idea. That is until you scratch below the surface to the rather bland heart of it all. Chicken is nice. I have nothing against chicken; it’s tasty, healthy, and quite versatile. However, that does not mean I like menus full of the stuff. I can understand that it is a chicken restaurant, but the only other place I know of that only do chicken are fast food joints, and Nando’s seems very suspiciously like a fast food joint masquerading as a restaurant. You order at the counter. You collect all your own utensils. You fill your own drinks. Wait a minute… I SEETHROUGHYOURFAÇADE! Be one or the other, not a hideous hybrid of both. Plus it’s almost always packed, situated as it is right in the middle of the Arndale. I guess there’s no accounting for taste after all.

Did I say Nandos meeting the Printworks would bring upon us End of Days?! Man, how could I have been so blind? It was probably all part of the evil plan by the evil powers that be– to get you to look one way whilst creating the real fulcrum of darkness just next door! Of course Nando’s meeting the Arndale is the real world ender! There is no point running for cover, it’s too late, it’s happened. We probably only have days.

If you find yourself wining and dining in Nandos quite frankly you should not be wining and dining outside your own home with a bottle of Lambrini and a tin of beans… because that would be a classier option. I dint care that some may say it has great chicken that tastes really good… that my friend is the the additives that are pumped in. If you need Nandos in your life its time to step back a reassess everything.

Another nandos and another raving review. This place is ace and tasty and cooked to perfection! Free refils on drinks to which makes the price more justifiable!

If you love chicken then this is the place for you. A fun, funky and laid back eatery, Nandos boasts very quick service from staff who generally seem polite and friendly. As a relatively fast-food place this is far more healthy alternative, though you will pay more than any ‘golden arches’ establishment. The menu is reasonably priced, with the bottomless drinks an added bonus. With a choice of marinades for the chicken the more sensitive palate shouldn’t be scared off. The sides are tasty and the combination plates are fairly good value for the amount of food you get. The menu doesn’t change much, but when you’re onto something good why mess with it?

The layout of Nandos is excellent. However, it can get very busy at a weekend but they can normally fit you in after a small wait. the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is upbeat and modern. I found the prices to reasonable and the food to be excellent quality.

Nando’s restaurants have spread like wildfire lately — can we not get enough of plain old chicken? Apparently not. This particular Nandos in the Arndale Centre has people queuing to get in even on weekdays. All Nandos menu’s are the same; you can have chicken wraps, or whole chickens, or just a chicken leg with spicy rice, or chips, or the delicious sweet potato mash. You also choose the spice levels; you can have garlic and lemon if you want no spice at all, but I personally find medium fairly spicy and I have a high spice threshold! Nandos is also self service, so you get a seat, decide on your meal then queue up to pay. And boy is there always a queue in this branch. Always. I don’t understand it can take so long taking an order but there you go! For the record I visited this branch only this week, and I waited 25 mins to order, and 36 mins to receive the food. The people around me also sat, irriate, waiting for food. I suppose the novelty of it makes Nandos special, and I could eat chicken whenever; it is an inoffensive meat. I tend to order the whole chicken, but I am sure that four chicken legs doesn’t constitute as a whole chicken, but nevermind. When actually think about it isn’t the most cost effective place to eat. £16 for the«whole» chicken, a plate of chips and 2 drinks. Hmm. I know a place called KFC…
