Had some lunch and a coffee here today, happened upon it whilst cycling back from Richmond park. Looked nice so thought why not! Glad I did as the food was very nice, and as we had had a cycle felt we could have a chocolate brownie, which is something that always looks so good wherever you go but usually doesn’t live up to your expectations! But luckily it did this time! Very nice brownie! Coffee was not bad either, not a huge amount of choice, just the standard espresso type coffees but the quality was good. Price wise came to less then I was expecting too considering the quality so defiantly recommend! My only criticism was you had to pay for your coffee at one counter then go to another counter and tell them your order again for them to make it, seemed somewhat of a faff… But that was the only slightly annoying thing!

Really lovely little coffee shop/bakery. Very nice cakes and good coffee and very reasonable prices. Staff were nice and friendly and I was impressed with the selection of gluten free bread and cakes.

A cute, neighbourhood spot, filled with beautiful sweet and savoury baked goods. Nothing compared to what you will get in France, but very tasty treats. Richmond Hill Bakery is around the corner from us, so we have a had a few different tarts, cakes, croissants and baguettes, but eventually stopped popping in for pastries due to the demeanour of the staff. Not a single nice experience. Expect delicious baked goods, but also expect to be ignored or shoved around so the staff can stock the store while making it clear that your patronage is of no concern to them. Why clean a dirty table when you can chat to your coworkers about your weekend instead?

Surprised this place only has two reviews, as its on a popular high street and was packed on the Sunday afternoon I was there! Its a very laid-back café-cum-bakery-cum-shop. There’s a range of savoury and sweet options for breakfast and lunch, although by the time I went at 3pm some of the savoury and breakfast items had sold out. I had the brownie cheesecake — massive slice for £3ish and was so yummy. Not sugary sweet at all. My latte was decent. Its a very kid-friendly café, so its not the quietest in the world but if I’m in the area again I would definitely go back.

The quality and range of food at Richmond Hill Bakery is very good. We visit 3 – 4 times a week and the bread and cakes never fail to impress. Not cheap but worth it, although some of the cakes are unquestionably overpriced. However, the real let down is the staff. Aloof, occasionally rude and with no interest in customers. A real shame. Serving great food clearly means the staff don’t feel they need try, so they don’t. Should be much better and a more enjoyable experience but the product is worth trying, just don’t expect a friendly welcome.

This is a very victorian-stylish bakery that just opened up on Richmond hill. It’s one of the most charming bakeries I have been to, you could spend hours starring at their breads and cakes, enjoy a nice coffee in the back kitchen and browse through their cute gift shop. Yes — it’s a full experience when you go there. The baguettes are warm and crispy, the bread loaves are dense and well shaped, the cakes have style and the presentation is done with taste. A must see. And being French, I know what I’m talking about ;))) Go for an early run along the river and then stack up a nice breakfast at this bakery. A perfect Saturday morning guaranteed :)
