Ein wirklich guter klassicher britischer Pub. Sehr schön gelegen und nicht weit zur Themse. Es gibt kein Essen, nur Getränke, aber dafür sieht es mit Kamin aus wie im Wohnzimmer. Selbst Weihnachten kann man hier ein Bier genießen und ich war dort oft zur last round. Der einzige Minuspunkt wären die Besitzer die kaum da sind (dann laüft der Service) sind sie es sind sie oft recht «moody» und haben glaub ich keine Lust zu bedienen. Vor allem die Pub «Lady» also die Ehefrau des Besitzers kann dann recht schwierig sein. Aber sei es drum es lohnt sich immer mehr britisch und klassisch geht kaum.

The sign in front says that it’s Richmond’s smallest and friendliest pub. I’d find it hard to argue. It’s tiny, with only a couple of seats and a very small bar. But there’s a tiny paved garden out back (just a space with three tables behind the pub), and lots of people take their drinks across the street to a small hilly green.
The bartender was kind enough to warn me that a previous patron had thought that my first choice of pint (Hobgoblin) was perhaps going off, and let me taste it. It was indeed on the way out, so I ordered an Adnams bitter instead. Nice of him to tell me so, I thought.
Very local, very friendly pub.

Tiny and cosy pub on Richmond Hill, 20 people and it’ll feel pretty full. There’s a small garden to the rear, but keen smokers seem to take their chairs across the road.
Good cheap beer and frindly regulars what more can I say.
