This is such a find and anyone who’s into antique furniture I’d say bookmark it now!
Ok so when you walk in through the main mill building door all the furniture is pretty plain and you think urrrhgh… why did I bother, but as you move to the back — go outside and up the metal stairs and that’s where the real antique furniture shop is (the intro shop is just day to day items)
Loads of amazing reclaimed items are on offer, heavy woods, antique tables and chairs, retro 50’s, 60’s and 70’s sets — plus decorative items and fashion pieces.
Set up as a kind of Christian charity to give people who work there a second chance in life and also giving people on low wages access to everyday items like PC’s downstairs — you could just be helping out society by buying that lovely art deco whiskey cabinet at the same time!
