If it were possible to rate with a 0 stars I would. Pastries were stale. Food was terrible. Service was absolutely the worst. AVOID!

Went to eat here with my wife and little one as we were close to starving! Wish I went somewhere else as this place is simply horrible, they do not accept any credit cards and hence it takes them forever to process cash payments. Beware that there is also an additional fee for sitting down. Also I advise to watch out for people stealing your bag in there. Last but not least the food came after 20 minutes and was absolutely horrible. Total waste of money. This place makes McDonalds look like a 3 star restaurant. I advise not to eat here and go somewhere else.

Warning, there is a 4 pound penalty for sitting at a table. They prefer to not let you notice by rushing you to sit before you can note their takeaway prices. We waited for more than 20 minutes for a take away fish and chips and the place was not crowded or busy. At least when the food arrived, it was hot. The fish was average at best but the chips were almost exclusively without flavor. there were 5 tables outside and it was a nice day, so we sat down to eat. after a few minutes we were asked to move along because we had ordered take away so we were not allowed to sit at their tables In general, the staff was just short of rude and the food was grossly unremarkable. The best I can say is that at least it was hot and they did not charge extra for ketchup. Next time I am I London I will make a point to not come back to this place

We came in being to find food for the picky kids in our group, and the menu looked good. We sat down and choose what we wanted, but nobody told us that we had to go up to the counter to order from the menu. We couldn’t pay with our credit cards because the machine was broken, so we used up all our change. The two kids menu items we ordered came with one of the canned drinks in the fridge. This apparently didn’t include water. At this point I would’ve given one star. When the food arrived, the waitress brought ketchup, mustard, mayo, and tartar sauce for my fish and chips. The fish was cod and it was mediocre; the batter had no flavor and the fish was decent. Overall, the fish and chips were okay. One of the kids had a hotdog and chips and the other had chicken and chips. They were mediocre. Parents had scones with clotted cream and Bonne Maman strawberry preserves. The scone was nothing special but the clotted cream was great. The meal was quite greasy and left me feeling a bit sick. The food would give it three stars bit just the overall feel of the place bumped it down one. It was about 40 pounds for three people. Not the best place.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast because we couldn’t find anywhere else open at the time. You’ll probably be okay if you just grab a pastry from the case, but if you want food off the menu, you are better off going somewhere else. We had scrambled eggs and toast which was very bland. We left feeling full(since the portions are large) but unsatisfied with the mediocre meal. Tip: You order your food at the bar and pay when you order. They only accept cash.

I think they should change their name to Not enough to feed an average man. Food was okay but too expensive for the kind of quality and for not having any service and the portions were mediocre despite the name of the restaurant. Better check in somewhere else.

I would give a full review, except we didn’t even get to eat. My friend and I stopped in here to grab a quick something after siteseeing. The sign said«OPEN,» so we went in, where we were rudely greeted by a girl who shouted«Um, sorry, we’re closed.» We apologized and I told her that the sign said they were open. Usually, that would be the polite thing to do to just advise them if they forgot to change it over. We got a smug-faced reaction and the same repugnant attitude and no reaction to me telling the sign was still OPEN. While we were walking out, I got a bit miffed and decided to change the sign myself. Yes, probably not a very adult thing to do. This action resulted in the girl FINALLY coming to the front to actually speak semi face-to-face. She asked me, «Did I ask you to turn the sign? Who do you think you are?» HAHA, YES!(I thought.) I turned and asked her if she was *bleeping* kidding. Called her a not so delicate word, she told me I was full of s**t. And we called it a day. Yeah, some people say Americans are rude. Hello pot, meet kettle.

The prices are reasonable(for London), the portions are large and the staff are relatively friendly. Unfortunately the food was flavorless. My wife and I both ordered cheese-burgers and chips, which came out after about ten minutes. The chips were ok. Average by diner standards, but don’t hold a candle to decent pub chips. Anyway, the burgers came out and didn’t look anything like the photos on the menu board. They came dressed with lettuce and tomato and nothing else. No onion, no mayo, no pickles, etc. This might be normal in UK, and would probably be ok if the burger or cheese had any flavor at all. But somehow they manage to serve a completely flavorless piece of beef(even after opening up the burger and salting the meat) covered by the most bland piece of American cheese I’ve ever tasted. This could be a symptom of the move to reduce salt in the UK, but it seems like a terrible idea to be adopted by a greasy spoon style diner. In short, if you want to pay £8 for a burger that tastes like cafeteria food, go right ahead. Otherwise listen to the other reviews and try the breakfast or fish and chips or just find a pub.

We slept in and missed breakfast at our nearby Park Plaza hotel. I was craving a full English breakfast so we asked the people at the hotel who directed me right down the street to this place. I was very happy. This place is a greasy little spoon that serves up pretty much anything to take with or sit down and eat. I got my full English and it was perfect and inexpensive. They even made me some very good coffee. You can find this place one street back from the London Eye. Worth the visit.
