Worth the price! Vegetarian friendly, great service, and delicious. Highly recommend the alfredo.

Omg, almost passed this up in my quest for fresh fish, so glad I didn’t. Had the branzino which was so fresh and excellently prepared. Husband had shrimp scampi, alittle variation on what we’ve had other places but quite tasty! Service was attentive as well.

The food at Pesce was good, but not outstanding, the service was slightly over attentive to the point of being pesky. Overall it’s does not provide good value for money, so I chose to only tip a small amount, but when I checked my statement they had helped themselves to an extra US$ 10, so I conclude they think they’re better than they actually are. Not recommended!

Warm friendly people. The food was delicious! We had Alfredo, ala vodka, and cabanara. Came out piping hot. I needed gluten free noodles so I just let them know a couple days before and it was notes in my reservation. The full size is a big portion. Will return!

The food was tasty but a little overpriced. Had the Marsala w/NY Strip. Flavors worked well and everything was pleasant but not memorable

Went back to Pesce after about a one year hiatus. Back then, dinner was too pricey for what it was. Well the prices haven’t changed but the food has. The house made pastas are great. One member of our party had the Penne a la Vodka and it was everyone’s favorite. Another had the porkchop modified for low carb and found it delicious. I had a mahi special and it was very flavorful. The portions are huge so order the small for the pasta dishes. All dishes were nicely presented. The service was very good. Everyone’s favorite dessert was the house made gelatos. The bread pudding was good but not fantastic.

Coached the manager on a Cucumber, Basil Martini… Ask for it, you will love it! It just may make the menu! #Martini w/Lobster and Portobello Gnocchi… Michelin Winner in the making!

Romantic setting and delicious menu. I had the chef’s special which was pasta with lobster and butter. Superb taste, fresh, timely! The wine was good but not great.

Hate to write a bad review but after reading good reviews on this place and then eating what people said was great I have to! The food was edible but definitely not worth the price! I had the stuffed pork chop witch I read was amazing I’ll just say I’m full after eating it! Nothing spectacular! My girlfriend had a Cesar salad and half pound meatball! The salad was like a half a head of lettuce on a plate with some Cesar dressing on it! And the meatball was a chunk of meat with no taste to it! Sorry about the bad review but don’t want people to waste their money!

Food is ok but a little expensive for what it is. I think this place tries hard to be upscale but personally I wasn’t that impressed. Pasta was a bit overcooked and atmosphere could use a little refresh. Bringing my baby in for dinner seemed to cause a few scuffs among the hostess and other staff even though she didn’t make a peep through dinner. And note… No changing table, just a dinky piece of furniture she could easily fall off of in the bathroom that was my changing area.

We’re giving this a 5-star but it is in the context of the area which we found it. It would not be a 5-star in Manhattan or another major city, but to find it in Red Hook USVI was a bit of a surprise. After being on the boat for a week, we felt like an upscale meal to pamper ourselves. The first night we tried to get a reservation they were full; disappointing, but a good sign. The next night we reserved an early time at 1830 and got a good table after asking to reposition from our initial spot. We lived in Italy for 2 years so we tend to be snobs about Italian food & wine. They had a fairly good wine list with labels that we recognized. Unfortunately the first two we ordered were not available. We settled on Masi Campofiorin which was reasonably price for a restaurant, let alone one in the islands. We order the antipasti for 2 to start and it was very good and just the right size. The waitress was continually over to our table to fill our glasses and ask how we were. We were pleasantly surprised to see that she(and the others roaming) paid attention to where we were with our antipasti before bringing out our main. We had the shrimp linguini and spaghetti w/meatball. We ordered the ½ or appy size and we’re glad that we did since they were plenty big. We ate slowly over 2 hours, and our waitress told us not to hurry both before and after paying the bill. We stayed until we finished the bottle, although we could have taken it with us back to the resort. An unexpected find on the marina, and we’ll be sure to return if we sail from there again.

Just be careful that you don’t get a very unfriendly and judgmental waiter for no apparent reason. A 30 something year old waiter that had trouble smiling when nobody else was in the restaurant was a huge reason why I will never go to this restaurant again! We tried to stir up a nice conversation with him, but to no avail. He tried to talk us out of ordering low-carb food at this restaurant. Low carb was our only choice, as we are diabetics. They had fresh fish which is why I don’t’ understand. If I were the owner and overheard his conversation with us, I’d be shocked and he’d be fired! He basically said, «if you don’t have pasta, why are you here»?! The thing of it is, the name of the restaurant is «Pesce», which means fish in Itialian.

I’m a New Yorker, so when I tell you I have high standards for italian food, I have high standards for italian food… which are met and exceeded by Pesce! If they have the pork belly special entrée or appetizer, OR the white truffle lobster mac and cheese, ORDERIT. both literally melt in your mouth. mind blown. I’ve been here many times and between myself and my friends/boyfriend/family have eaten ¾ of the menu, no disappointments and it’s hard not to lick your plate clean even with the generous entrée portions. They also have an all you can drink brunch with a bloody mary and mimosa bar on the weekends, with a lot of delicious brunch options. The service has always been great as well. Rachel and Kevin are awesome. GOHERE!

I ordered the stuffed pork chop and was not disappointed. It was tender, juicy, full of flavor and very god size portion. My wife ordered the spaghetti and meatball, and was not thrilled with the dish. As with most Italian Restaurants, spaghetti is something that is never made well. The noodles were over cooked and the marinara sauce was bland with very little flavor. The meatball was a very good size, but was bland as well. Rated a 4 because the pork chip was a five but the spaghetti was a 2 ½ to 3.

Luckily, the waiters at Pesce did not remember our family from our last trip to St. Thomas!!! On our prior visit to Pesce my husband and his brother thought it would be funny to order flaming cocktails. We had been drinking all day on the boat so by the third round of flaming cocktails my husband and his brother were starting to get pretty rowdy. As they finished their cocktails they«clinked» their glasses to celebrate and ended up clinking their glasses so hard that they shattered one of the glasses! Luckily we had already signed the bill so we slipped out of the restaurant as fast as we could before anyone noticed how obnoxious our table had become. Our second visit to Pesce was much tamer! We ordered wine and told the boys that they could order flaming cocktails after dinner. The calamari and steamed mussels at Pesce are both excellent appetizers. On my most recent visit I ordered the«Pesce Pasta Cucina» with homemade casarecce pasta(twisted rolled tube noodles). The Pesce Pasta Cucina includes tons of mussels, shrimp, calamari, and other seafood. The spicy red tomato sauce in this dish is amazing! This dish is so large that I had leftovers the next day for lunch. My father-in-law and my sister-in-law loved the Osso Buco Milanese so much on our first visit that they ordered a second time. They claim it is some of the best osso buco that they have ever had. Side Note: the bartender makes a mean flaming Dr. Pepper!

Fantastic! The happy hour starts at 5:00 and the appetizers and drinks are a bargain. The bartender recommended the quarter pound meatball app and it was great and at $ 6 this could have been the meal but I moved into the blackened snapper entrée. Excellent! Emily the bartender was a pro. She made me a happy hour $ 6 cocktail with Proseco and vodka and cranberry that was wonderful. Somehow she was able to keep up with a busy bar and all my questions about St. Thomas. Great atmosphere and food. Not a typical tourist trap.

The atmosphere is really quite relaxing and feels like an old Italian villa. It is quiet and the tables are candlelit. The service is outstanding and out server Torey did a great job of telling us a little about himself which made it a nice personal experience. The wine list is very nice and will pleasantly surprise you as you have a good selection of various regions to choose from. I had the chicken piccata with au gratin cauliflower. Trust me it is amazing! My wife had the vodka pasta and chose the smaller portion which turned out to be a good decision. They have ½ portions of their homemade pasta dishes which is really nice. We didn’t save room for dessert but we would have chosen the double chocolate Kahlua cake. Next time we will order the calamari and cake. We gave it a 4 star because zero view, pretty pricey and you have to pass a bar with the smoking section outside to get to the restaurant. As far as authentic Italian on St Thomas goes, this is right up there with Virgilios Parking is a little easier here.
