I’ve been to so many different Ritz hotels and this one has been by far one of my favorites! It’s also probably one of the best vacations I’ve been on, which I definitely would attribute to the beauty and service of this hotel. I stayed in an ocean view suite and every morning when I would wake up I couldn’t believe how scenic our view was from the balcony. Also, my family had Club Level access, where the food was delicious and healthy, and we could also make drinks with access to all top-shelf liquor. The resort itself is stunning — one of my favorite things I did here was the Sunset Sail where we sailed on the ocean while enjoying cocktails and amazing hors d’oeuvres. I also suggest taking a boat or ferry to St. John and visiting Trunk Bay, which has been known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. We snorkeled there all day and saw turtles and colorful reefs. I hope to come back to the Virgin Islands soon!

In St. Thomas you should put your expectations down otherwise you will be disappointing with quality of the food, service; it doesn’t matter if its a fine dining or a 5 star hotel. However, i have a special memory with Coconut Cove! Its an open bar/grill, fronting the beach and offering relaxed atmosphere. We wanted to be free and wanted to be in a family friendly place while celebrating my babies first birthday. We were a bit confused about starters of the diner menu then we were offered to check lunch menu as well. It was kind gustier from one of the staff. From the starters section we choose the Coconut cove quesadilla was great with caramelised onion and peppers served with St. john jalapeños, guacamole sauce. Fried calamari with spicy tomato sauce was alright as well. Jerk chicken breast, classic burger, cuban pasta, mahi worth trying the all tasted great. Again i like cuban pasta most even without any mince beef it tastes good. We were offered free kids meal nice selection of pasta and grilled chicken for them. When we ordered for the kids they all received generous portion of meals. We had a really good time at Coconut Cove and thanks to the waiting staff made a pleasant experience.

This Ritz is gorgeous and secluded away from the main area on the island. The rooms are not quite up to date but do not feel ancient either. The main issue we had with the room(and the reason we did not give this Ritz 5 stars) is because we booked an ocean view room and ¾ of our view was a wall/greenery. There was barely any view of the actual water. We brought this up to the front desk but were not relocated. We did not raise a huge fuss as we were not here to sit inside the room all day. Every morning we would wake up and start the day with a swim, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Otherwise this location is amazing because it is self sufficient. The restaurants are excellent with unpretentious service. The food is a tad expensive but excellent. The wine selection was perfect. Overall we were happy with our stay and would consider returning, assuming we were given an actual ocean view!

An amazing hotel set on an idyllic beach and bay. Our room was beautifully appointed with a luxurious bath and a beautiful view of St John. The pool and beach staff were amazing ! So quick to serve us the Drink of the Day! Amazing and delicious concoctions that did not disappoint! All of the restaurants were very high quality with high prices to match. However, I’m not really fond of $ 10 to go breakfast sandwiches. Night life was very quiet. «Sails» outdoor bar and restaurant had a band twice, but they are done by 10pm. Nothing else really going on in October. Mosquitos were pretty bad. We had some rain and they hatched and were quite a nuisance. Must have been a differs variety than we have in NY, bites took a long time to heal. Really put a damper on being outside at night. Overall, a great resort.

We went here for our honeymoon and it was truly paradise! We travel often from several beaches we have been to — Mexico, Caymans, Barbados, Bahamas, etc. St. Thomas was the perfect pace for our honeymoon Relaxing, but not boring. There were tons of wonderful places to eat, beautiful beaches, and great options to spend a couple days doing activities. We were there for 6 days and spent 2 out and about and the other pretty much soaking up the hotels amazing amenities. Upon arrival at the hotel, the valets parked our rental jeep(which was always super easy and quick to get) and took us to the gorgeous lobby to get checked in. We then took a golf cart to our room which could not have been more perfect! Comfy bed, patio we enjoyed breakfasts and drinks on and a large bathroom with a fabulous tub and shower. All of the food we had while at the resort was delicious! One day we went to the beach when the bell rang and helped them bring in all of the fish and lobsters. We were then treated to dinner enjoying those exact fish and lobsters — to die for! Other favorites of the resort included the spa and the wonderful beachside service. I did a few trips to the spa and my facial was wonderful! I brought my book with me and hung out in the relaxation room for awhile drinking tea and reading to get out of the sun for a bit after my facial. The beachside service was great! Great chairs and any drinks or food ordered came out quickly and were super yummy! We went paddle boarding one day and my husband kayaked while I was at the spa. They had lots of other water sports options as well! Would most definitely come back to and stay anytime!

You cannot go wrong with the Ritz, or at least that what we thought. Our room was beautiful and the view was gorgeous! It wasn’t tidy every time we left it, but the beds were made. I love the nespresso machine in the room! I love my spa experience too, the place is beautiful and clean and it’s like a time out while on a time out. Paradise! There is no kitchen opened after midnight which kinda sucks because I am sure most people staying at the ritz come from places where food is available 24⁄7 and when you are out partying, you come home and you have no option it really sucks. Also, when the night front desk manager isn’t very kind to accommodate your hungry request, it doesn’t say ritz much. Thankfully, we befriended the best night clerk who was able to take care of our food craving and was so pleasant to us making our experience quite top notch. Also wanted to give Deidre, the day manager, a very special shout out for being so so kind to us and for making our trip extra special. We voiced some concerns to her and she handled everything extremely professionally, with care and kindness. She rocks :) thank you!

Staying at the Ritz was the highlight of our honeymoon. The grounds are beautiful, the staff extremely warm and inviting and a plethora of activities onsite. To be honest, we had a difficult time leaving the resort. Our only difficulty was the distance to Charlotte Amelie; which was quite a hassle to get to(the traffic and getting used to driving on the other side of the many unmarked lanes was a bit hairy at times). We had a private couples massage by the water which was an amazing. The fitness facilities are top notch and the onsite water activities, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, we’re all quite enjoyable. The pool was great and our room was even more amazing. The bed was super comfy and I the in room Nespresso machine was the BEST!

Came here with my bf for a short vacation tagged onto a company event. The service is horrible. They put us in a room with 2 separate beds and said its max capacity, so there’s no way to switch. The bed was small: max«full size» not even queen. The airline lost our luggage and delivered them the next day. Our luggage was sitting at the hotel lobby and no one informed us about the delivery. When they brought the suitcase to us at the lobby they just sat the suitcase in front of us. I would imagine at the minimum they would offer to deliver it to our room immediately?! Breakfast was very average for its price. Long line at breakfast. Scuba diving was full for the day. This is only day1. Can’t wait to go home even when we don’t have to pay for it. Poor internet reception in the room. Only AT&T cell phone works here. Don’t expect to work. Couples definitely avoid. Maybe ok for families. What a disaster.
