My favourite steak place in BA, no nonsense old school. Reminds me of classical Italian restaurants, white jacketed waiters and all. Extensive wine list, usually good choice of offal starters(grilled of course), the morcilla is very good. Side dishes the creamed spinach a must and the fries in all different cuts. Pièce de resistance is however the beef which is consistently of high quality and precisely executed.

First impressions very good with warm and friendly staff. Super service with no delays although the place was packed around 20:00. Bit pricey but worth the Argentine steak experience.

This was my first meal in Buenos Aires and it set the bar high! The steak melted in my mouth, the wine selection was spectacular, and their dulce de leche crepes were some of the best crepes I’ve ever had. The staff was also very friendly.

The food was Excellent! The service was outstanding. Made for a memorable first meal in Buenos Aires that I look forward to returning to on my next visit. The quality of the meat is some of finest I have had along with a great selection of Argentinian wines. I could tell by the number of local regulars and their friendship with the wait staff that this was a popular choice.

I am apologizing in advance if I am not as critical as some. I have bbqed steaks all my life and like to think that my steaks rank as top quality. Yet this Unilocal recommendation not presented me with an opportunity to sample a top notch Argentine steak house and I thought it was superb. If you are traveling in B.A. and would like an excellent beef dinner, greet the tuxedoed hosts, smile at the pretty hostess, and enjoy a great beef dinner.

On a recent trip to Argentina we had a few nights in Buenos Aires. This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the hotel. I quickly found out why. The atmosphere, the service, and most importantly the beef was among the best I’ve ever had. I had short ribs and my wife had picanha. Far and away the best restaurant we visited during our trip. If we had more time in the city we would have returned for another dinner. Six stars minimum.

We ate here twice, but not just because the food was good, but also because it opens before 8pm. Since we were struggling a bit with jet lag, it was tough to stay up late to have dinner, so this was a nice option near our hotel. We tried lots of sides, and lots of steaks, and all of it was great. I’m also a huge fan of provoleta and their’s is amazing, I was really tempted to just order my own, but my wife did not allow this, which is probably for the best, but it’s that good. This will definitely be on the list of places to go again in future.

Classy establishment, great steak. Get your choice cut and order a glass of Rutini Malbec(or a bottle, who am i to judge :) and enjoy the experience. Argentine Asadores(steakhouses) are very, very common in Buenos Aires, but this place is rated well for a reason. Good quality and service – not to mention ambiance – set this place in the top tier. Not as expensive as top-notch steakhouses in the city(a good thing), but a little more $ than some other places. I give it a solid 4 star for everything listed above, and an extra star for the nostalgia of going to dinner with family here whenever I am in Argentina. BTW…medium rare is Jugoso… medium is «a punto». Keep in mind many Argentine steakhouses have a tendency to overcook the steak a little. It comes out juicy, and with the chimichurri sauce its all good, but I always order medium rare in the states and tend to order rare or medium rare in Argentina.

Can I give it 6 stars? As soon as my fork reached my mouth, I immediately stopped the dinner conversation and said«This is the best steak I’ve ever had!» It is that good. It was a nice place, the service was good and the prices reasonable. Next time I’m in Buenos Aires, I’ll definitely eat there again. I went there with a few friends, but can also be a good spot for a business dinner or a night out with your significant other.

It’s all that and more. All that being high quality large selection of beef similar to La Cabrera but not as large as La Brigada. And more: High quality upscale atmosphere Located in great area Professional English speaking servers Extensive Argentinian wine list And cost, yes cost. This is not a cramped shuffle em in shuffle em out kinda place. Great food, great location and great atmosphere. Yes you have to pay a little more. What are you waiting for?

I have been to BA many times but I had never dined here. It was the best steak that I have had in Argentina! Also, they speak good english and are open early for North Americans like me who don’t want to wait until 10pm to dine. Highly recommended.

Had a huge dinner here with friends. Had steak, wine, beer, tequilla, salad, fries, empanadas, sausage and chicken. Everything was amazing but the chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. $ 50 each American with tip. Careful though, tip is added into bill but they will not volunteer the info.
