In the heart of the Hilton Hotel foyer this place lacks a bit of ambiance however it has a lot of buzz! It’s a convenient place to grab a quick coffee, and it’s pretty good coffee(trust me, I’m from Melbourne), or a croissant or egg and bacon roll for breakfast. There are also plenty of sweet treats and pastries if you want to get a takeaway snack.

Coffee isn’t too special here. I ordered the piccolo and the little milk it has was burnt. The fried egg and bacon roll in brioche bread was very tasty. Interesting twist as the brioche gave a sweetness to the savory egg and bacon. The café is situated in the Hilton hotel. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place. It’s ok if you’re walking past and need a pick me up. Lots of business people here sitting on tables with laptops.

This café is in the middle of the Hilton lobby — and right in front of my work. So I keep walking past it and decided to give it ago. Thinking that if this is awesome coffee, I can just walk across the road. The coffee here is alright. Nothing special, but not bad. I would probably think that the coffee is awesome if I didn’t know the coffee in the area. To have good coffee in the city, you are competing with some awesome places. And in all honestly, this place doesn’t compete. However, if you are looking for a nice and quite place to sit, this is probably the place for you. But you will be surrounded by business men and women having meetings. So if you like that sort of thing, this café might be for you.

Nice little coffee shop. Expensive, below average service due to the lack of staff. Small serves and not tasty food. Truly does not represent a 5 star property. Hope they do better in future.

If you have to wait 15 minutes before anyone comes to take your order then something is wrong in a table serviced café. I will give them credit that the coffee was good, but not great by Sydney standards. I’d like to say something nice, but the service was slow, the ambience was like a drafty train station(noisy and cold) and the coffee was overpriced! And finally, they got the bill wrong… I was over charged(they gave me someone else’s bill which was $ 2.70 more expensive). By the time I had noticed, they had already charged my credit card. Although, they were about to refund me the cash difference but this was the final nail in the coffin and downgraded a two-star review into a one. Do yourself a favour and give this a miss!

It’s Sunday in the city, and many of the other places I haunt for coffee in the city are closed… but luckily, Cino is open! This café in the Hilton is styled with a modern twist, and appears ideal for small groups — in the middle of the city there are small tables and chairs to chat and catch up without getting sucked into the frenzy of shoppers outside. I imagine it would be quite a good place to also come and have an informal business chat, although today I came with friends. The coffee was not as bad as I thought it would be, my friend really enjoyed her flat white, my double mac was very drinkable. I did think the coffee was a little watery, and had a little too much milk for my liking. I also prefer to have it served in a small espresso glass, rather then a regular sized glass(it may sound a bit funny, but I promise it matters! The larger cups don’t hold the heat as well, and who wants cold coffee?) The price? $ 10 for two coffees is perhaps a bit pricey… but then again, it is in the hilton, so personal preference should guide

This is the best hotel café in Sydney by a long mile. However many miles it takes to run the gamut of Sydney. Perhaps even the world. There is a real cosmopolitan and urban feeling to it(evidently really hard to do — look at the Grace hotel) and the café staff here are exceptional. There’s also a very much open-house feel to the café and the food is both a good deal and truly scrumptious and exactly what you’ll need. You can come here just for a skim cappuccino and banana bread and not get harassed in the slightest for not ordering anything else or you can get the wonderfully tasty soup or the open sandwiches or the meat skewers and get the same treatment you would be getting if you had ordered the skim cappuccino and banana bread. That is to say, excellent treatment and a smile. The café prices here are also very reasonable. Counting as well the Marble Bar and Glass, the Hilton has clearly got it. Just wish some other hotel would follow.

Shall we go for a coffee? A phrase that I hear often, and Caffe Cino within the Hilton Hotel will do, as its an open space with an «in-between» atmosphere if you know what I mean. Its neither intimate or intimidating, and ideal as a meeting place for people you may not know that well or for a casual business coffee. The little dessert display looks nice, but they’re actually not that great. So this place is better for just coffee or tea, which they serve out with the same service that is expected from a 5 star hotel.
