We(unfortunately) arrived an hour late for our 9pm dinner reservations but they took us in right away. I wrote the restaurant an email beforehand that I was a vegan and requested a non-dairy and meat-free course. They responded that it would be difficult and pretty much impossible for them to make a tasty meal without using dairy, and told me the best they can do is make vegetarian dishes for me. When we got to the restaurant a manager spoke to me about me dietary concerns. He was very thoughtful and considerate, and he also put in a lot of effort to create a meal course that would accommodate to my dairy restriction. In the end, they were able to create an absolutely 100% dairy-free meal, and it was all very tasty too. :) Such an amazing experience to dine in the Eiffel Tower.

My husband and I spent 8 days in Paris and had many different types of food. The food here was one in our top favorites. We both had cream of mushroom soup to start. Chicken and mashed potatoes and elbow macaroni for our entrees, and chocolate mouse and tiramisu for desert. All dishes were delicious. My favorite desert the entire stay of Paris was the chocolate mouse. The view from the Eiffel Tower was amazing — hurry in once you get to the top so you can get a window seat.

The picnic lunch, in the newly renovated first observation deck of the Eiffel Tower, brings home the opulence of the atmosphere. There is a view from every seat, and the attentive service is curt. Enjoying the gourmet meal is easy in the magnitude of the moment. Portions are healthily served in meticulous presentations for this coupe de gras of French hospitality!

We had Christmas dinner here and it was incredibly lovely. I’m sure that’s a given. However, here is where this restaurants stands out. I have a dairy allergy and the staff was very accommodating with the menu. We also had our two year old(at the time) with us and her kids choices were absolutely stunning! Her favorite was the chocolate Eiffel Tower dessert. I will include photos. OHYES! To top it off, they arranged a small unoccupied room in the back for me to change her diaper when I needed to since the restrooms were small and busy. The food, service, and atmosphere was beyond this world and we’ll never forget the experience.

The view and the ambience of the restaurant is nice, but the prices are on the more expensive side. It’s the Eiffel Tower though, so can you really complain? I think the food was all around good. I ordered the chestnut soup entrée along with the salmon plat that came with risotto and mushrooms. The chestnut soup was tasty and came in a small cup, but due to its creamy texture, it was just the right amount. The other plat ordered at our table had tender beef and mashed potatoes in a wine-based sauce. For dessert we had the«floating island, on a vanilla custard sauce, cuts of nougatine» and the«seasonal fruit salad, with whipped cream muesli». Both were good. The«floating island» had many different textures going on which was interesting. It was light yet a little too sweet for my taste. We were the first ones who walked in at 11:30am when the restaurant opened, so it was fine that we didn’t have a reservation. I’m guessing if you need one that it would be for dinner. They also had us pose and took pictures of us before we ate, then showed them to us at the end of our meal to see if we wanted to purchase them. Yah, no thanks. Especially on a cold WINDY day up on the Eiffel Tower. Just feed me.

Fancy restaurant located inside the Eiffel Tower! This isn’t a recent visit but I still wanted to make a review of my wonderful experience! I came here to celebrate my birthday while I was still living in Paris. I had always wanted to have dinner here so I booked my reservations several months ahead online. I highly recommend making reservations way in advance maybe 3 – 5 months+. This restaurant is very popular and there is limited seating and tourists from all over the world are constantly making reservations here. Even that far advance they still didn’t have my first choice time. The dining experience is a fixed menu price depending on package you get. Expect to pay 100 Euros +. The price includes a lift(elevator) ticket up to the restaurant(it’s a shorter line than the regular elevator). The meal includes a glass of champagne along with a starter(appetizer), entrée and dessert. What I ordered: Foie Gras de Canard(Duck Liver) — This was my first time trying it. It tasted alright at first but later after the thought sunk in that it’s liver, it started to taste weird ha ha Salmon with Squash-This was delicious, especially the unexpected taste of squash with fish. Profiterole with a hot cocoa drizzle– Yummy, my first time trying profiterole! Pretty good! The views are absolutely breathtaking! I can’t picture any other restaurant as romantic as this. I dined here by myself for my birthday and honestly it was super lonely. Yes, it was a wonderful dining experience but I’ll never have someone to share this memory with. This would be the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or propose! I would love to come back here one day maybe with that special someone :)

We had originally wanted to make reservation while we were planning our trip then decided against it bc we did not want to be on a «schedule» in case we couldn’t make it there on time. We got to the Eiffel tower around 12:30 and decided to check if their were any reservations available. They had the next seating at 1pm, perfect. We purchased the luncheon and lift tickets. The plus side was we bypassed the lines for the regular lift. Upon entering, the couple in front of us, who decided to cut everyone, had requested a window seat. They were advised their were none available and the host seated them upstairs directly in front of the stairs. We didn’t expect to get window seating also but was pleasantly surprised when our hostess seated us at one! It’s all about your attitude! They call it a picnic basket lunch because the dessert and appetizer is bought out in a picnic basket. The food was pretty good and we were surprised at the price. $ 27 euro which included appetizer, entrée and dessert. If you didn’t want a dessert, then it was $ 22. I would reccomend it just for the experience of having lunch at the Eiffel Tower.

How can you go to Paris and not visit the most iconic landmark that represents Paris around the world. Overall, as stunning as it looks in the picture as upfront. I didn’t get the opportunity to line up at the 4 corners to go up the tower(as trust me the lines were long!) but I was satisfied just admiring it from afar. Overall, surprising as it may be, this tower is actually part of a park that seems to be built around it. I think the most iconic memory for me of this place is now the amazement of the massiveness and industrial look of the tower, but families taking walks in the park pushing their stroller while the tower is behind them(like it’s a normal day to day thing). It’s only tourists who crowd around things that seem perfectly normal to the locals there.

Food was average but who goes there for the food? You go there to say you’ve had dinner on the Eiffel Tower! You need to make reservations in advance(you can do it online). Be warned that it is cheesy. They have a photographer who goes around snapping lots of pictures that they offer for sale. They charge extra for a table by the window but so don’t think it is worth it. You have plenty of time to take pictures from the tower so you really don’t need to sit next to the window.

We had the Duck con fit fau gua which wasn’t too our taste, but the main dish was exquisite. Beef chuck with garlic mash was AMAZING! Service was impeccable as well. Like many others, we attempted to go to Jules Verne but they were booked. However, in the end I am glad we ended up here. The restaurant is well worth the price, and is much less expensive than its second level counterpart. When you make a reservation, you get to pick from a lot of options, so pick yours wisely. We chose the 9pm slot, with no view guarantee, for a three course meal(which we got to choose from different options) with wine, for 99 euros per person. First, unless you are really picky or have some money to burn, I wouldn’t pay the extra for a special guarantee of your view. The windows are vast and even from our inner seating, we could appreciate that we were actually in the Eiffel tower. Additionally, you can explore the first level of the tower before or after dinner on your own, so it is not like you won’t get to see the views eventually anyways. Next, the food. We had quite a good meal. While it wasn’t the best we had while in Paris, it still met our high standards. I started off with a chestnut soup with ricotta raviolis that was the highlight of my meal. It was creamy, rich, and delicious. I had a fish dish for my main meal which was also amazing and had the most delicious citrus sauce. For dessert I had the profiteroles… because it’s Paris. This was amazing and was accompanied by a chocolate sauce that was poured at the table. My husband had a prawn appetizer, steak meal(with some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had) and some sort of chocolate mousse for dessert. The wine kept flowing throughout the meal, and overall we were very happy. Service was great, and our waiter spoke just enough English that we were able to order but not enough that we didn’t need to practice our French. He was extremely helpful and very attentive. There is a photographer that comes around to the table to take lots of awkward photos(seriously, imagine 1980s glamour shots). While we thought it was hilarious and would never buy these overpriced shots, lots of people around us were, so clearly it is something that works for them! Getting up to the restaurant was interesting. We waited in line at a booth, then waited in line at security(not the restaurants fault) and then took the elevator up. I didn’t mind this because compared to the never ending line to just go up to the tower, this was a breeze. However, when the elevator full of people all went to the restaurant, it was like this big herd rushing towards the door. I didn’t really like that feeling. However, they were efficient at checking people in and getting them to their table. I think I would have preferred a more stagger approach. Nonetheless, it is totally worth it for not only the food but also to get to skip the normal line up the elevator in the tower. Go ahead and spend the money, get to skip the lines, and enjoy the food and view.

Surprisingly amazing! Finding a place that opens during Christmas time in Paris is like next to impossible. Most places are closed for a good week without any notice. And others are simply booked out. Which included the Eiffel tower tours. I’ve been to this beautiful tower over two dozens times but I wanted to come for Christmas! So I went ahead and booked a lunch at this place. Definitely didn’t want to eat at a touristy place but it was the only way to get up here when I want to. And at the chilling Parisian temperature, I wasn’t about to stand outside in line for it. In short: it was great. Coming up here was chaotic because it was so busy. First table we got was next to the stair case and definitely not what I wanted. But after talking to a few servers, they got us a perfect spot right next to the glass/windows! The BEST views! Food: it was a three/four course meal. I enjoyed it all. Duck confit was there, steak! Fish! Soup! And very cute desserts all in cute little mason jars. I spent a good two hours up here only because it was bone chilling cold outside. The service was somewhat attentive. Our lunch also came with champagne. Of course: D Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. A lot more than I thought I would. Its pricey but if you think about where you get to sit, its pretty worth it. And the food is good too! If you can’t get up to the tower during your visit, try making a reservations here! They have an ice rink outside during winter time. During summer, you can eat, shop and climb up to the top!

I went to this restaurant several times with a friend. We took different meals every time so that we could try a lot of what they offer. The food that we received was good and well prepared, but the dishes were pretty small and extremely expensive(Eiffel Tower prices…). I would describe the overall quality/price ratio of this place as rather negative since the prices are so high that it is hard to live up to the expectations. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived(It was about 6pm) so there was absolutely no wait to be seated. The service was decently fast and nice but we unfortunately had to deal with a waiter that was simply not very nice. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, which means that you definitely need a reservation, and that you will need to find the ticket booth under the Eiffel Tower, so that you can get your elevator ticket, and skip the lines. One good thing about this place is that the elevator ride is included in the price of the reservation, so it would definitely be a waste not to visit the rest of the Eiffel Tower after your lunch/dinner. Overall, my experience with 58 Tour Eiffel was positive and I would recommend it only if you are ready to spend a lot of money to eat on the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the view. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

While planning our vacation to Paris, we tried to get reservations at Jules Verne but it was booked nearly four months in advance, so we came here for dinner. The meal was good, and we had a premium seat by the window with a magnificent view(the main attraction). Our waiter was rather rushed but the service was still pretty good. What made this a most memorable experience(thus the 5 stars), was that my boyfriend got down on one knee and asked me to marry him as we were enjoying the beautiful sunset. Everyone including the staff, stopped and let us have our moment –and it was really awesome. I asked the waiter to take a photo of us at our table and he did; later I looked at the photos on my iPhone and he had also taken a goofy selfie to remember him by… He was a little bit of a smart –ass and a jokester, which sort of contradicted the romantic mood, but at the same time he was funny too. We try not to take everything too seriously. After all, were there to enjoy ourselves and have a fun vacation. They also had a photographer who came around taking pictures and we bought them at the end of dinner which was really nice. One turned out ok.(I posted it). All in all, it was a little crowded and touristy, and therefore not as quiet and intimate of a romantic dinner as we had planned. Having said that, the people we sat next to were a great couple and we had great conversation, a great meal and an unforgettable view. It was still the highlight of my trip and I will never forget it.

On our honeymoon, I of course knew we would have to visit the Eiffel Tower, but I didn’t even know there was a restaurant inside. .. until Unilocal!Gosh, was I ever happy for research. We made reservations a few months in advance for this restaurant. Finding the ticket window, lift up, and restaurant was pretty swift and easy. I was not a fan of the — squished to the max — elevators, but who is? There are signs warning of pickpockets, but there was no sign of any, when we were there. Before you go in, you have a chance to look around the first floor and enjoy the views. It’s a little jarring at first. Seeing through the glass flooring was pretty exhilarating/scary. But anyways. .. you will have time after to visit the gift shop and food place(oddly, they had donuts?). Nothing really fantastic was there, but it was still nice to look. So how was lunch? Amazing! We were lucky enough to have a window seat which made the experience better. I would mention this in the reservation or arrive earlier just for this reason(EPIC). Our waitress throughout was so cheerful, friendly, attentive and simply a pleasure. I spoke a little French and she spoke a lot of English, so it was all good. The food portions were fairly large, so much in fact, I could not finish mine, but my husband was happy to. Our menu: Mushroom Soup — creamy, flavorful and rich. Meat Pasta — creamy, salty, and just okay. Chocolate Mousse — super thick, rich, and YUM! Champagne — celebratory. Overall, it was not the best meal, but still quite good. Also, with the cost of the lift ticket included, and the luxury of not waiting in those long lines — it was well worth it. Afterwards, we climbed up to the second floor. Though I felt a little sluggish, it was doable and completely worth it to say, «I’ve climbed the Eiffel Tower.» While we didn’t want to go all the way to the top, the second floor was just great and we were able to see everything we wanted, plus, take a few obnoxious selfies. Then we climbed ALL the way down, which was quite the experience too. I particularly enjoyed seeing people of all ages climbing the stairs in agony or glee. Finally, my favorite part was cheering with my husband to our lovely honeymoon, in a place I always had dreamed of. .. Paris. *The décor was modern casual. No need to don your finest clothes, but don’t wear jeans either.

My husband and I had a fairly disappointing experience here. We came here on Valentine’s Day, to celebrate our second wedding anniversary in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. Dream come true, right? I purchased tickets and dinner ahead of time as part of their Valentine’s Day package. It was 300 Euro, so a steep ticket. I had looked at the restaurant online and at the time(about 6 months ago) it had great reviews. So I went ahead and booked it. I was envisioning a very romantic place with table linens, soft ambiance and nice music. Not what we got. The tables were very basic, like a cheap restaurant, with no linens and they were so close together that I could barely get in between the tables, and I am not an overweight person. There were children at the dinner. I’m sorry, but selling something as a romantic dinner with high chairs and screaming kids does not work for me. They had a photographer going around the tables to take photos, which was a nice touch although we did not like any of our photos. The food was not great. My scallops had a nice taste, but were cold and I could not finish them. The dessert was a very sugary thing of frosting and cookie, which we could not finish either. They gave you a class of champagne, which always goes down easy, and a rose at each table. I spent way too much to get way too little. We will do Jules Verne next time.

Do not be put off by my number of stars. This is actually a great review. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Although one might think this place is touristy, which it is, it still offer what one would want from a local kitchen. The service was very pleasant. They really made an effort to make it feel classy and the prices granted being on the Eiffel Tower aren’t as crazy as you might think! It isn’t cheap but it caters for everyone. The food was fairly nice. I had the Marbré de canard confit avec fois gras and beef cheeks with herbed mashed potatoes all of which topped with a mushroom sauce. It was delicious but not mind blowing after all the beef cheeks I’ve had in Melbourne. It kinda didn’t make me sing but seated by a window with a view of what is one of the prettiest cities in the world, one can’t not be impressed. Even with rain it still melts your heart… That and they have heating making you realise how many layers you have on as you take them off mid December. The service was impeccable. Catering to our needs, understanding that my nephew needed fries pronto to cure his hangryness… They dashed in and made sure he had his before any orders where put through. The menu offers a variety of French dishes and combination course meals to promote variety(and obviously promote sales). They offer a two or three course meal which allowed us to get a bit of everything. Others at the table had the salmon and a several of the deserts. They where impressed and so a wonderful meal was had followed by a lovely boat ride on the Seine across the road.

LUNCHSERVICEREVIEW The bf and I had a wonderful time here! We arrived for our 12 pm reservation at 11:35AM to pick up our lift tickets. We were able to bypass the lines to get the tickets and headed to the lift line. We received access to the first floor and you have the ability to climb the stairs to the second floor, though I don’t know if you would be granted access without the proper ticket(and walk down to the bottom). We were greetly warmly and seated promptly in a great spot near the window and with a perfect view of the Fountain Coutan at the Palais de Chaillot in the area, Trocadero. We had a choice of foods from their Autumn/Winter menu and chose the pumpkin soup and duck confit as appetizers, truffle pasta(without Ham for the bf) and beef cheeks for the entrees and tiramisu and chocolate mousse for dessert. The food was served in a classy picnic style way and we were able to choose a drink including soda and wine. The food was better than average and we were happy about that considering the reviews we read. There is someone who comes around and snaps photos and asks you to pose in cheesy ways and then someone comes by and asks if you’d like to purchase any — no pressure and they let you check them out at your table. We had a server, an Asian man(who’s name we unfortunately did not get.) who was amazing and so nice! He actually helped us take some fantastic photos which were better than the restaurant’s photographer. He was super nice and made our experience very nice. Thanks so much, sir! They never rushed us and everything was smooth and relaxing. It was nice also that we had a prepaid reservation so when we were done, we tipped that wonderful man and went on our way to explore the tower. We would come back for sure!(Especially because the bf proposed to me not long after this lunch with the Effiel Tower as our backdrop :))

A considérer donc

Diner romantique !
