The first time my mother and I visited this place was amazing! The guy was friendly and the sandwiches he made were delicious. I returned two days later for the same sandwich and an older woman was very mean. I asked her to add sun-dried tomatoes to the sandwich like I had the other day and she said she couldn’t because I was only allowed two toppings. She said the guy must have made a mistake. That was fine. It happens. I told her I would rather have the sun-dried tomatoes and she could take the onions off.(The sun-dried tomatoes are the very reason I went back.) Well, she literally SNATCHED the onions off and FLUNG them into the trash while spitting out words in French I’d never heard before.(Were they curse words?) I told her I was sorry the guy had made a mistake. She kept muttering angrily and forcefully wrapping my poor sandwich. I suggested maybe she talk to him so that it doesn’t happen again. When it came time ring up the sandwiches, she forced a smile and asked if I wanted un boisson or dessert. A firm, «Non,» was my response. I had my eye on some cookies and muffins, but I was not going to spend another Euro there. I would have left the sandwiches, but wasting food was not the answer. Besides, those sun-dried tomatoes were calling me. I understand order changes appear to be an American thing, but there were two rings of onions that she merely had to take off. All the extra nastiness was completely unnecessary. Anyway, I give this place 5 stars for the bagels and presentation; 3 for her Frankenstein attitude.
