The name of this hotel is «Hotel Arc de Triomphe». The previous reviewer entered the name incorrectly. This hotel is located between Ave Carnot and Ave MacMahon, just 5 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, close to the metro, and in a very upscale neighborhood. The staff was hit or miss, both with English skills and with effort. One woman helped greatly with providing initial directions/instructions. Our room was fairly spacious and clean, though the bathroom was tiny and appeared to need maintenance. The double bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together, which was fine. There was a desk, safe, *tiny* refrigerator, and 2 cabinets for clothing/items. The main problem in the bathroom was failure of the miniscule sink, and the shower to drain. After 1 minute of use, both seemed full to nearly capacity. At least the toilet drained! The view from the room was the adjacent building…4 feet away. There was not natural light. The room was quiet, except when a large family with a least one loud child was in the hallway outside. Unfortunately the hotel staff decided to split this family among 2 floors, so the people were constantly running up and down the stairs, and talking in the hallway. It would be nice for the hotel to put up signs requesting that customers keep quiet in the shared(very small) hallway space. Breakfast at this hotel(13 Euro) was a gigantic rip-off. It is located in the cramped, hot basement. The aforementioned large family ate all of the eggs, and when I asked the hotel staff person for more, she said«that’s all there were». Therefore I paid 13 Euro for 2 pastry and a cup of tea. AVOIDTHEBREAKFASTHERE, and go down the street a few steps in any direction to a great restaurant, or the hotel a few doors down.

Schönes kleines Stadthotel in Paris. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert.
