What a wonderful evening! We were so lucky to find this friendly delicious traditional French restaurant near our hotel. Shortly after we were seated, the owner came to our table to personally welcome us. The menu is only in French. We started with the French onion soup and the escargot which were both wonderful. The soup was deliciously caramelized with french bread and a thick layer of cheese, perfect for a chilly rainy night. We had the grilled steak rare with pomme frite. The steak was perfectly prepared, grilled & juicy. No ketchup for the fries, so don’t ask. My husband had the duck and my daughter ordered the chicken, both were perfect. The Bordeaux was reasonably priced and very delicious and the desert, a chocolate crisp, was perfect. It was raining when we left and the owner offered to give us an umbrella for the walk home. Fortunately we had one of our own but it was such a sweet gesture. Highly recommend!

I really wish I could give them no star. Canned, old, prepacked, poor but expensive food. Smarmy owner who argued with me on every point. The three of us couldn’t eat our food and even told him the tea was lukewarm. He argued about that. What a horrible place. They live on the ignorance of tourists. Stay away.
