We’ve been to this place twice now. 1st time for take away for late dinner on a Sunday night. and 2nd for dine in for lunch. Lunch is very busy btw!!! Come earlier before the crowd pours in! We have been happy both times. The noodles are great and we love that they have the hot chili oil. We have ordered: E6-Nems au poulet(eggroll with chicken) E2-Raviolis pekinois au porc(our favorite) E3-Gyoza au porc(the skin is so crisp and thin!) N30-Lamen sauté au canard laque C4-Riz cantonaise au poulet croustillant(best fried chicken!!!) N4-Lamen au travers de porc Freshly made noodles makes a difference. We don’t even have that within 30 miles where I live in california!

After going out to the movies, we wanted to pick up some Chinese food for takeaway and ended up here. The funny thing is that I didn’t even get the noodles; I’m more of a rice fan in general so I ended up getting the chicken & rice dish(as did my friend). Both the chicken and the rice were cooked well and it didn’t take very long to get our food(maybe 5 – 10 minutes). Our meals came out to about 10 euros each so that was certainly reasonable for the large portions that we got! When you get takeaway, they give you chopsticks and your food in plastic containers(well-sealed) in a plastic bag so it’s not a struggle to walk home with it. I wish I had asked for soy sauce as they didn’t include it but I didn’t think to ask at the time so keep that in mind if you like sauces or seasonings.

Our walk back from the Notre Dame Cathedral to the Novotel Montparnasse is no joke. It’s the fall season as well, the sun is down and the temperature has dropped a good amount. We were in search for a Chinese food shop well, so when we came about this restaurant, we were sold. What better on a cold evening than a steaming hot bowl of noodle soup. Take a good look at the logo, now take a look at the guy in the open kitchen prepping, mixing and stretching the noodles. Do they look alike? The answer is yes, that’s the same guy. The head honcho and the owner of the restaurant working side by side with the people on the floor. So anyways, let’s get to the food. For starters, spring rolls, jelly fish and gyoza. Spring rolls came with a few lettuce leafs, wrap them up in it, dip it in the sauce and it’s totally delish. Then the jelly fish was great, jellyfish is neutral in taste so the seasoning and marinade makes the dish, and it did. Then the gyoza were pretty good as well. For the main event was my spicy beef noodle soup. The broth was very well seasoned. The veggies, specially the chinese kale is a perfect accompaniment to the meats inside the bowl. When you take a mouthful of noodles, you immediately taste the difference of freshly made noodles. It’s nice and chewy with an egg finish to it. No this isn’t a ramen shop, it’s a chinese noodle shop so please don’t embarrass yourself by comparing apples to peaches. It might look almost alike but they’re totally different. Thank you for reading my review. I’ll be dining here again next time the mood strikes. Follow me on Instagram and snapchat: rodtorres3

Nice place to eat something Chinese. If you want to try truly spicy cuisine, not here.

I want to start out saying that I am a Chinese food snob. I am a born and raised Née Yorker who was fed Chinese all my life. This place is one of the best places I have had Chinese. They make the noodles right in front of you(if you get the right seat). If you are a connoisseur of Chinese cuisine this place is a must!
