Powers Hotel

Hotel Powers is a true gem smack dab in the 8^th arrondissement. A block away from the Champ-​Elysee and George V ave. A few blocks from the Arc de triumph and just a short walk to the other side of the seine river. The main metro line is also one block away.
It is a smaller boutique hotel with a small lobby, bar, and lounge. Yes indeed the elevator is the smallest I have seen… but we were lucky to have a room on the 1^st floor. Our room was nice, it was not really large nor was it tiny. The bathroom was nice size and had a tub/​shower combo.
The front desk is super friendly and helpful, most speak some English, and their recommendations and directions are very very useful.
Our breakfast was included and was superb: great eggs, basket of pasteries, various meats (bacon, sausage, proscuitto, ham, etc). Great jams, cereal yogurts etc.
Price was reasonable for this district of Paris… and the location cannot be beat.

my family and I stayed here for five days and had zero complaints. the staff are lovely and very helpful. the rooms are charming, yet have all the modern touches guests want. we definitely took advantage of the free breakfasts every morning. much better than the complimentary breakfasts hotels offer in the states! and you can’t beat the area this hotel is located in! if you’re planning on visiting Paris, definitely put this hotel on your list of possibilities!
