We stopped by this place our first night in Paris less than a half hour prior to their closing time. They were closed the following day (Sunday) so we were somewhat surprised to be greeted warmly and shown to a table which they made up for us.
We were given a couple of menus, and told by our waiter in a nice way that the clock was ticking for the kitchen so we quickly chose a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine.
Having worked in kitchens before, I know first hand that latecomers are not the most welcome by the kitchen staff when they are trying to clean up and get out to enjoy their evening and the following day off.
The food was wonderful, pizza dough was crispy, the toppings fresh in spite of the late hour, and the wine was excellent.
Now the prices we have come to recognize in our first few days in Paris are pretty steep relative to Vancouver, which is saying something, but we feel we got our monies worth.
One thing to remember in France when using a credit card is that you cannot add a tip on the machine, so bring cash with you to tip. If you add it to the bill on the machine the establishment gets the money not the person who waited upon you. Cash goes to them and them alone.
We are leaving Paris in the morning and heading back to Fenice again this evening, a little earlier this time to enjoy their fine food one more time.
Highly recommended from our first experience, here’s hoping for a repeat.

Ate here a second time while in Paris and were surprised that we were recognized upon our arrival and once again seated at the same table we had had a couple of evenings prior. I can only say that our second experience was even better than our first. Our food was outstanding, the service first class. We only wish we had more nights in Paris to sample more of the menu.

This restaurant was not good. Surly waiter; poor quality of food; not good value for the price.

Les restaurants italiens se multiplient dans les capitales, les bons comme les mauvais. Samesa fait partie de ces petites pépites qu’on se doit de connaître. De manière tout à fait objective (car c’est l’oncle d’un de mes amis qui tient ce restaurant), les produits servis sont de très bonne qualité. En entrée: nous avons partagé des antipasti dingues: aubergine grillée en lamelles, tomates séchées, oignons confit, charcuterie dingue, mozzarella et burrata fondante. Concernant les plats: il y a un grand choix de plats de pâtes: fraîches et sèches, mais aussi des viandes, et très peu de pizzas. J’ai opté pour un plat de tagliatelles fraîches, langoustines flambées au cognac. Les pâtes étaient excellentes, parfaitement cuites, mais je n’ai pas beaucoup ressenti la sauce des langoustines, bien qu’il y ait eu des morceaux de langoustines dans mon plat. Un peu déçue, mais j’ai pu gouter le plat d’à côte (taglioni verts et blancs, champignons, jambon cuit, crème) qui étaient délicieuses. Pour finir, j’ai choisi dolci excellent: un mille-​feuilles ricotta et fraises. Un pur délice: la pâte croustillante du mille-​feuille se mariait très bien avec la douceur fondante de la ricotta et la fraîcheur des fraises. Côté addition ce n’est pas donné, il faut compter 31 euros entrée+plat+dessert, mais lorsqu’on regarde les cartes parisiennes, ce n’est pas du vol, car le cadre est classique et soigné, le service impeccable et les produits excellents.

We came here for dinner when we were in Paris last weekend and it was one of the best dinners we had — both in terms of food and ambiance! The chef and staff are actually Italian and are so lovely and welcoming. We had the fried artichokes as a starter (delicious) and then pizza and veal saltimbocca as the mains (also delicious). The service was second to none as well. The food and wine prices are also very reasonable as well. Highly recommended and looking forward to going back when we return to Paris!

Went for dinner here tonight (Saturday) with colleagues, after a tradeshow. This restaurant was recommended by our French colleague and the recommendation was accurate. The restaurant did not disappoint. After delicious starters of eggplant, rocket and Parma ham we enjoyed scrumptious mains with veal, beef medallions, lamb and rhombus pasta all thoroughly enjoyed. The dinner was perfectly complimented with two Cabernet Sauvignons from different regions each uniquely delicious. Finished with a tasty selection of dessert and coffee.
Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable with a nice ambiance from other guests.
I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, good service, and very cozy. Would recommend to anyone looking for Italian food that Americans are used to!

This a wonderful Italian restaurant in Paris. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. All the homemade pastas are fresh and perfectly prepared. Great calamari. Lots of native Italians in the restaurant. Tourists are welcome.

Excellent pasta made fresh in house, attentive staff who are more than happy to advise on their wine selection (which is a tome of a book) sold by the glass, carafe or bottle. Also happy to offer a menu in English for those not that well versed in French.
No need to book on week days, just get there early as the place fills up. Moderately expensive, expect to spend € 30 for a 2 course meal and wine, but well worth it.

Great Italian restaurant with very attentive service. Food was excellent and complemented well by Montepulciano wine.

Great ambiance, excellent service. Our waiter, Roberto from Sardinia Italy did a fantastic job. Had the veal saltimbocca, that was excellent. He recommended an Italian wine that paired excellent with our meal. I will be back!

Nous avons trouvé ce restaurant italien très accueillant, par un soir bien glacial, pas très loin de l’arc de Triomphe. L’accueil est aimable, la carte plutôt alléchante. Nous avons testé l’un, un plat classique, les spaghetti à la vongole, très bons, et moi, un assemblage plus original, des ravioli farcis à la ricotta et zestes de citrons et d’orange, excellents aussi. Le tout accompagné d’un bon verre de Nebiolo. Nous nous sommes régalés tout autant avec les desserts. Les quantités tout à fait correctes, les produits frais et bien cuisinés en font un bon rapport qualité-​prix. Ce restaurant fait aussi des pizzas, à emporter entre autres, et il semble pas mal fréquenté par des familles avec enfants.

Fantastic food and service! Fabio and Roberta were so patient with us not understanding the menu. A great place to come if you are in Paris!

Une vraiment bonne petite adresse italienne dans un quartier déjà bien garni en restaurants. De la courtoisie de l’accueil à la succulence de l’assiette, tutto bene. Impossible de décrire, il faut juger par vous-​même. Bravo bravo, grazie mille.

Let me be the first American to tell you this is a great place! It’s on a quiet street off the Wagram and wasn’t too busy when we went. The pasta dishes were very good, freshly made, authentic, and flavorful. Also the dishes are large — the pastas are the same full size we’re used to at home, not the appetizer sizes in Europe. :)

Restaurant italien intimiste situé à 50 mètres à pied de l’arc de triomphe.
Comme j’ai pu dire au restaurateur: ça faisait longtemps que j’avais pas aussi bien manger!
Le personnel est adorable, le cadre est joli, les plats sont servis bien chaud, le vin est bon (d’après les britanniques)
Tout est réuni pour passer un bon moment en petit comité ! PS: Le dessert aux fraises hmmm un délice!

Excellent repas.
Le restaurant né paye pas de mine, mais le service est agréable, le service avec l’accent italien, un vrai plaisir.
Les plats sont délicieux et le fondant au chocolat en dessert est juste une tuerie !

Un vrai restaurant italien
Un restaurant où l’on peut manger de vrai patte italienne avec un large choix de plat, l’ambiance y est calme un restaurant plutôt classe mais accessibles à tous.

Restaurant essayé un midi, et découverte du «menu du jour», non affiché, offrant, pour 19 €, entrée, plat, dessert, avec amuse bouche et petite truffe avec le café… rarissime dans le quartier En plus c’est bon!!! (pour être pointilleux, les pâtes sont peut être un peu trop «al dente», mais c’est el goût italien)

Un restaurant italien enfinde plus, un vrai italien!
Très appétissants et frais les antipasti misti avec légumes doucement grillés et marinés au parfum d’huile d’olive vierge. Succulentes les pâtes fraiches maison aux langoustineset délicieuse la panna cotta élaborée avec des vraies gousses de vanille! Pour les vins, laissez faire au personnel car tous leurs conseils sont bien visés et vous pourrez ainsi découvrir des bons cepages italiens.

Le chef Claudio Sammarone à ouvert son nouveau restaurant Samesa en novembre 2008, pour proposer une cuisine de tradition italienne à base de produits frais.
Venez vous régaler avec les oeufs brouillés à la boutargue, la poêlée de calamars, les spaghetti guitare aux langoustines, ou le risotto à l’encre de seiche. Pour le dessert, la panna cotta, le semifreddo, ou le millefeuille font plaisir. Vite, à table !
Formules du déjeuner à 17 et 21 EUR, menus à 26 et 31 EUR servis midi et soir, à la carte, à partir de 29 EUR. Service jusqu’à 23h, tous les jours sauf dimanche.
