Fleur de Sel

Food was great. I had the Seabass, daughter had the muscles, wife had seafood platter and son had fish and chips. Seabass was well prepared accompanied by red and yellow beets. This was complemented by a nice LaForet Chardonnay 2011.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and we followed it with the apple tart which is their signature desert. Fantastic!

The price was right and the fish was good and fresh. Don’t take wine by the glass as you’ll only get 2 fingers full. Avoid the pork loin which was dry and chewy. Finally, when we asked for mustard, they gave us a plastic package — we are not in a fast-​food place; we’re in the country of some of the best gourmet mustards! Sorry but this rates only 2 stars.

It’s extremely impressive how well Fleur de Sel handles their seafood.
From start to finish, I was presented with plate after plate of freshly prepared shrimp and fish that not only had stunning presentation, but also impeccable taste. I can go on and on about how memorable my dining experience here was, but to keep this short and simple, I highly recommend this place for some quality Normandy seafood. Everything on the menu is prepared with attention, and you simply cannot go wrong with a meal here!
Plus, the waitstaff is really SO accommodating. I came with two girls who are vegans, who constantly experience trouble feeling satisfied after a meal since France is not really what I’d call a «vegan-​friendly» place to dine. However, Fleur de Sel was able to whip up an impromptu salad, pasta, and lemon sorbet for my vegan friends, and left them completely stuffed at the end! When a restaurant adds last-​minute vegan additions to its menu, you know it’s worth the trip! 5 stars!

Shortly a really good place to have a nice meal (fish of course) in Normandy.
More in details I have to say that the location is also quite nice in a little busy village (at least was really busy when I was there also because of a street Sunday market). They offer different menus with different prices and, as usual, I picked the middle one. I was satisfied by the service and the food, only negative note the time I had to wait to be seated but I didn’t have a reservation.

Charmant repas avec menu de saint Jacques pour un prix raisonnable. Ambiance feutrée. Bön mais pas très copieux et dessert moyen. Réserver absolument (restaurant plein à 20h). Un petit trop d’attente

Pour 45EUR par personne un monumental plateau de fruits de mer avec homard. Frais et copieux sur ce petit port réputé pour sa pêche de coquille Saint Jacques.
D’autres menus alléchant, petite salle bien remplie, décoration maritime au rendez vous, le service rigoureux manqué de jovialité. Penser à réserver.

Very good food. The restaurant was preparing to close for the afternoon, so the waiter only allowed us to order from the specials menu to expedite their ability to close and prep for dinner. The fish was excellent. (it is a fishing town).

Situado en un precioso pueblo, restaurante con terraza, excelentes ostras de Normandía y pescado muy fresco. Servicio rápido y precios medios-​altos. Como casi todos los restaurantes en Francia, propone un menú diario a un precio mas asequible. Atención correcta y servicio muy rápido.
