Great and carefree bar with great music… unless the owner is there and then the happy hour is cancelled, the bar staff are hunted away for interacting with the customers and the music selection suffers.
Try get in there before he runs the place i to the ground.

Bueno así no te guste la cerveza (sí, seguro la gente te llama raro), no pasa nada, hay bebidas para todos los gustos, pero venga, que estamos en Irlanda, la cerveza es lo que abunda en todos lados…
La atención como en la mayoría de los bares de la zona es excelente…
Tienen ciertos días y horarios con promociones en cervezas, pero todavía no me los aprendo

I was dressed like a chav but a few words in the ear to the bouncer about me being a big Metallica fan got me in. And my god that shot they have, dont know what its called is amazing. This place rocks!

At first glance Fred Zeppelins may appear a little rough
and ready but it is worth further inspection. Undoubtedly the best metal bar in cork city, Fredz has hosts the best gigs and its dj is rivaled by no other. It is a cosy pub with a lively and energetic atmosphere as the night goes on. This is a place for music fans and metal lovers, who will never go home disapponted.

Staff are so-​so — I’ve been ignored a few times — but you’re not here for 5 star service, but to thrash around to the hard music. Not one for the faint-​hearted.
