Vas caminando por una calle sin mucho encanto y el amigo al que vas siguiendo te hace entrar a un pub que pasa bastante desapercibido en la calle… Pasas la primera puerta y te consigues con un pequeño y acogedor bar con pocas mesas y poco espacio para sentarse, atravesando el bar llegamos a un patio rodeado por una pared llena de enredaderas y flores y con muchas mesas grandes de esas que sueles compartir… Pues si. Es un lugar con mucho encanto al que seguramente volvere muchas veces…
P.d. puedes pedir pizzas en una pizzeria italiana (recomendada por amigos italianos) que queda a 100mts y te las llevan al bar

Awful bar in my opinion only attracting feature for me is the beer garden in the back is brilliant.

One of my favourite Cork bars, although quite a walk from the city centre. This place has a gorgeous beer garden with loads of fairy lights and a brilliant atmosphere. It also offers good pub-​food, well worth visiting.

Great bar, great staff and great beer garden! Proper pub with plenty of character a must on any visit to cork… Really!
Opens late, maybe around 4pm but if the sun is shining head this way…
Nice local bar with a good local crowd…

Love this place! Looks tiny from the outside but has huge outside area which has loads of character. Really cosy and perfect from a few pints with friends

This pub is so deceiving from the outside but inside is another story. It reminds me of a pub that I used to go to in West Cork. Real arty crowd there at the weekends, a really nice mixture of clientele and a great smoking area!
Worth a visit — you will not be disappointed!

Tom Barry’s suddenly became popular a few years ago — the smoking ban came in, and everyone flocked to the beer garden here. Great if you’re a smoker, but also lovely if you’re not. The beer garden is especially nice on a summer’s day with a cool beer or cider.
Inside, it looks like a traditional bar but with some modern twists. Great for an evening with friends — where you’re bound to meet other people — or early evening chats. Staff are friendly and chatty with an above-​average selection of beers.
