Our waitress was very abrupt and pushy when it came to ordering. Our mediocre food took forever to come and our dishes didn’t even arrive together. Giving it a one star for its convenience since we stayed @ camden court hotel.

We went here for lunch the Friday before last and it was fine.
I went for the toast special, it was fine.
We did ask for salt and vinegar, only salt was brought over.
I really can’t think of anything more to say… unmemorable I guess.

Lorsque je suis arrivé à Dublin, c’est le premier endroit ou j’ai mangé (et le dernier). Un délicieux «Sir loin Steak sandwich». A chaque fois que je retourne à Dublin, Je vais manger là bas, un peu pour le souvenir du bon vieux temps mais surtout pour ce plat. Simple et efficace. Le reste étant aussi bon, l’endroit agréable.

I don’t know why, but I actually like this place. It’s nice and comfortable, with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a relatively new place compared to say the Bernard Shaw or the Bleeding Horse, which are both just around the corner. But maybe because the other two draw the crowds the C Central bar ends up being a bit quieter, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s the sort of place you go to for a civilized pint or two while watching the sport of your choice on the screen without going on a mad bender.

I don’t know what it is, but for some reason hotel bars always draw me in. C Central Bar, part of the Camden Court Hotel, is a nice modern area set amongst a perfect area, and literally only a stone’s throw from tons of more hopping pubs.
It’s a great place to catch a bite to eat before a night out, if you’re looking for something a bit classier, but not fancy. The food is reasonable and quite good. They’ve also got big screens that are good for watching matches if you’re looking for a more comfortable environment.
