Meh. I was disappointed. I’ve passed by Grub Hub a few times and recently saw that it had gotten a nice make-over so I thought that the food would be similarly bumped up quality-wise, but alas, I was left prih-tty underwhelmed. I ordered an omelette to go, and fair enough it said € 7.50 with a tea/coffee, but I was only looking for a take-away and thought the guy could’ve let me off a few euro considering I wasn’t getting any tea or coffee. He didn’t and the omelette that came in the chipper-style container was super-greasey and left me feeling sick for the rest of the afternoon. When food is priced that little bit higher than the surrounding venues, you subsequently expect the quality to be higher, but I just felt that my grub didn’t «step up to the plate» so to speak. If the food was cheaper I’d probably be willing to give Grub Hub the benefit of the doubt and go for another try, but it’s just not cheap enough to risk spending my precious lunch budget on another disappointing lunch so I’m afraid I’ll be giving it a miss.

My boyfriend and I popped in for a bite to eat last weekend. We both ordered the pulled pork sub and a cup of tea each. It was lovely, huuuge portions and they came with fries, which I hadn’t realised. *Almost* too much for one person, but like a trooper, I managed it. The interior is lovely, big blackboard menu, bright, colourful cushions, smiley friendly staff, I loved it. They didn’t have a card machine, so we had to dash down to Spar to pay the bill, just fyi. I’ll definitely go back.
