Mochaland Cafe

This gem is located right next to the Morrison Doubletree. We got the evening’s special of chicken on a couscous salad and it was delicious. We also shared the carrot cake and Black Forest cake– both were great. Our waitress was from Romania and was so exceptional. It was obvious she loved her job and the people she works with. I highly recommend this location for any meal, even just a pastry and coffee.

Breakfast at the Mochaland Café was an incredible experience! The food was conservatively priced without sacrificing quality. Service was, perhaps, the most memorable and enjoyable component to the experience; James is grand!

I never write reviews but this place is awesome aswell as the food and the staff is super friendly i would recommend this place to anyone

Went in today and shared a platter of delicious hot foods after enjoying a mouth watering lentil soup. Will definitely be back to try the hummus platter!

Wow what a find, such a fantastic place with the friendliest staff and a very funny and welcoming owner. I will be visiting every time I am in Dublin, my new favourite café.

I have been here a few times and I have always been greeted with a smile. love the breakfast and the coffee is good not great but very drinkable.

This place plays great music and has an awesome location next to the Morrison (on the Quay). Very cute with excellent coffee and dessert. I could sit on the couch and look out for hours.

I came here for just coffee with a friend as I’ve always passed by it on the bus but never got the chance to go in. The café inside is pretty nice and small, and there some nice sofas as well. However, when we went in we weren’t sure if it was table service or you’re supposed to order at the counter, but it turned out to be table service despite seeming like an order at the counter place.
I ordered a white coffee which was not bad, but not exactly fantastic and my friend ordered a hot chocolate which was pretty big and looked delicious! The prices were pretty cheap as well but then again the quality is mediocre to average at best, although I was happy to see a soya milk option! I thought the service was borderline; The staff pretty brusk so I’d say they could be a bit more friendly which would’ve earned them a 4 star review from me. We didn’t have food, but looking at the menu they seem to have a fairly extensive breakfast and lunch menu, and there are lots of cakes and desserts on display.
Overall, a reasonably priced café with a comfy interior and a variety of breakfast and lunch options.

Friendly service and cheap, decent breakfast. I’d highly recommend either the Big Breakfast or veggie omelette.

This was a nice little surprise in what isn’t really the most beautiful part of Dublin. I’d call it cheap and cheerful — it’s not fancy but great for a quick lunch. I opted for the vegan wrap which is heavy on the salad but was just right for what I had been looking for, and inspired me to try out the couscous-​in-​a-​wrap option at home. I was too full for desert but seeing as it is called Mochaland I really want to try one, and one of their yummy-​looking cookies, next time. Due to the location I wouldn’t seek it out but if you happen to be in the area and looking for lunch or a sweet snack, it’s just right.

That’s a great place to have breakfast if you happen to be around. The service is fast and the food delicious. Veggie omelette is great, and the staff is nice ad easygoing. Will keep on coming back.

really good service and nice selection of food. i had the bbq chicken sandwitch that was pretty good and fries. they did have some loud noise coming from the upper floor or next door, possibly an airconditioning

Hemos venido dos veces. Y si la calidad nos sigue gustando se convertirá en un habitual dominguero. Es acogedor, y tienes unos ventanales maravillosos con un sofá donde tomarte un café después de comer. El personal es muy amable.

Cheap enough for being bang in the city centre staff were nice an checked on the table a few times
But the food and coffee were very middle of the road, not bad enough to complain about not nice enough to compliment. My girlfriend ordered tea and didn’t even bring it out in a teapot just hot water in a cup and a tea bag which was odd.
As I said not a bad place, just wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit

I literally ran in here to hide from the rain and was greeted with a smile. How nice! I was offered the menu but I declined saying I was just having coffee. I couldnt, however, pass on the afternoon special of any cake and any type of coffee for 4.50Euro.

This place was really not good. I really don’t like to write such negative reviews, but the food here was terrible. I didn’t know that Dublin places normally don’t open early, so this was the first place we discovered that was open and just walked in on our first day here.
We ordered the Irish breakfast that has eggs, ham, beans, toast and coffee. The coffee tasted instant and was not good. The beans were runny and over salted. The ham was greasy. I was just really disappointed with the quality of food.
They do have wifi and the people working there were friendly. But the food just was really bad.

I used to love this place but unfortunately they decided to revamp it. One less couch. Mediocre instead of great cakes.

Free wifi and nice people make this a good and cozy spot.
One evening during our visit, it started to rain and we came upon this place and it looked cozy enough for us to enjoy a hot coffee and a hot chocolate. Mmmmm. We stuck around for over an hour and they closed while we were there (two other customers there too) but the employee didn’t kick us out, just started tidying up the place and allowed us to casually stay until we were ready to go. Thanks for that! We will come visit again for some friendly warmth when we are back in Dublin!

During our visit to Dublin we adopted this cozy café as our morning hangout. Nice pastries, coffee and a friendly staff. My wife really liked the scones and I enjoyed the breakfast specials.
