This was one of my favorite places to eat in Dublin, but it has since slipped. The food was always delicious(if a little expensive) but they must have cut costs here because the old classics don’t taste the same anymore. The menu rarely changed, and this was fine when the quality was great, but not now. The wine list is decent, but its quite expensive for what you get. You will not get a wine for less than € 27 here, which, in this day and age, just isn’t acceptable. Its a real pity because this place was amazing and I would love to be giving it 5 stars, but I can’t. Hopefully they will get back to past glories. As for the moment it is a place that is too expensive for what you get.

Plan b is a must if you like fresh Italian food… I was so impressed with the menu, and i have been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks. The early bird menu is great value, 39.95 for two people. choice of 2 starters and 2 mains and this includes a bottle of wine. The waiter was friendly and remembered me each time… Great atmosphere and a cosy feel to the place too…

I really enjoy here for some wine and simple pasta meal. Staff are really friendly and the small venue gives it a cosy feel.

I Went here for lunch with my Dad and friend. When we sat down we were greeted with a large blackboard with the specials, my Dad was having trouble reading the chalk handwriting so asked about the dishes of the day. They waitress just pointed us back in the direction of the blackboard and abruptly said it was all there. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara which tasted like the whole pepper pot had fallen into the bowl, i nearly choked! For desert we all passed except for my father who has the biggest sweet tooth… he ordered the tiramisu with ice cream on the side. I think the waitress was trying to annoy us furthermore by bringing out a slice of tiramisu and a full dessert portion of ice cream. Our lunch time bill hit a whopping € 51, with my dads desert costing him € 5 for the tiramisu and € 5 for the ice cream. I will certainty be keeping plan B to my plan B in future, hopefully plan A never lets me down.
