Decent chips and nice people. Fish was good but a bit mushy. The main issue I have is an issue that I have with all chippers. Why is it ok to charge € 2.50 for a tub of garlic mayonnaise? You can’t get decent garlic mayo anywhere except chippers. Any of the stuff I have bought in shops is not the same. I know they aren’t paying that much for it, I mean they can’t be, but they still charge so much. I feel like chippers make most of their profit on the mark up on garlic mayo. Back to the point though; nice chips, friendly staff, not too pricey(except for the garlic mayo).

Excellent! Crispy batter, light fish, tad greasy but definitely worth it! Went in with a groupon deal but will definitely be back.

Fish and chips? Fish and chips! That really should be the whole review. Just me repeating the phrase fish and chips over and over until you want fish and chips and go here for some good and reasonably priced fish and chips. Portions are big, they have some chicken nuggets on the menu as well and the interior is decent but really, it’s all about the fish and chips. They’re good, just ask for some tartar sauce and you’re set. Good stuff.

Chicken club was delicious and filling and the chips were large and tasty however the fish was tasteless and bland even though we got lots of salt and vinegar on them. Even though it’s considered fast food I don’t think it’s the best place for a tasty fish and chips meal. I’m sure there are better places to go.

Despite the weird and unnecessary nautical theme(I really don’t get it) this is a no-frills-needed chipper with perfect chips and reasonable prices. Yum.

Looks like we have a new winner in town in the Great Garlic Chips & Cheese Debate of 2014. This place doesn’t look pretty from the outside — it’s attached onto a giant petrol station after all — but man are their chips good. Not only does quantity you get here equal about two containers from other chippers, but the chips are crispy and homemade, the garlic sauce is delectable and plentiful, and the cheese, well it’s just so cheesy!!! And all for 4.50. Bargain and a half.

I am a fan of fried foods — this comes not as a huge surprise to any who have met me lately and notice that they are greeting my tummy before the rest of me has entered the room… weight watchers looms in my near future I fear. I have passed the Fryery many times in the last few years and completely failed to notice its existence — until last Friday. I noticed, I went in, I ordered, I ate. The chips in particular are worth a mention, they were bloody good. It wont be my last visit for sure
