a mixed bag. love the venue, food is amazing but let down by the service. Went for brunch on Sunday and was top of queue for next table. when we asked the waitress how long she thought it would be, she dismissed us quite rudely saying it was really busy and she had no idea, could be 10 minutes could be 30. it is a busy place so I really don’t mind queuing. 10 minutes later we were shown to a dirty table with hair all over it. the waitress proceeded to clean the table dropping the dirty particles onto our laps. Ordered our food from waiter who was very pleasant. Food slow to come out but I don’t mind that on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Served by previous waitress who we then noticed had the filthiest finger nails. — very off-putting. I had Irish breakfast and my husband had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. — absolutely delish.

Extremely POOR service. Dirty glasses. Hairs on food. Drinks were served after we had already eaten. When we complained they didn’t care. DONOTRECOMMEND

I can’t say enough about the brunch here! Homemade scones with jam and Irish butter, tea, and the French toast is to die for! Service is excellent and the atmosphere is just what you need to start your day exploring Dublin

Yesterday I joined my sister for breakfast in Enniskerry and I foolishly decided against getting French Toast. My sister did order said French Toast and I then had food envy. Gah. Fast forward to this morning and I still have a hankering for French Toast. I decide to try the Greenery again because a) I was a bit harsh with my first review and b) it’s early in the day, so chances of quick service are higher. I arrive five minutes before their opening time, but the door says open, good stuff. Sure enough the place has only one other patron. I get seated and order. I almost go for the eggs benedict, but I stick to my guns. I’m glad I did, the French Toast is very nice. The accompanying maple syrup is not too runny either, so doesn’t take over the plate. The dish could have done with one more piece of bacon so each piece of toast had an accompanying piece of bacon. It was a bit of a contrast to my sisters French Toast the day before, where there was almost too much bacon. That said it was a very satisfying breakfast and I would recommend their French Toast here. I took a table away from the door, to avoid a draft. But somehow I manage to sit beside another door that was hidden behind a curtain. Each time either the front door or the kitchen door opened a cold draft would be triggered from the hidden door. I’m not even sure whats behind this door, but I suggest they keep it closed in cold weather. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. But like I say earlier, it’s early and any place as popular as this place is for weekend brunch, early arrival is key. A-OK

I went here with a group of friends last Saturday for brunch/lunch. The food was really nice, but the service was terrible. Our waitress was quite dismissive and inattentive(we had to ask twice for dessert menus, remind her about an order that was missing and ask another server for a condiment request) and I felt that we were«in the way». Really disappointed as the food was good but the group left with the decision not to return. Bad service is so avoidable and unnecessary and it really lets a place down.

I love the donnybrook Greenery restaurant, so was excited to try out their new destination on Lennox. A lot smaller, but also a lot cosier. The menu is the same and the food tastes just as good. The staff are also familiar from the other place which is nice so they recognise the regulars. The chef is also so accommodating and offered to make the fish cakes without gluten especially for me. Very nice touch!
