Hidden just off the main street in Maynooth, Twist is a great spot for a tapas or brunch. There’s a nice informal atmosphere in the place, and the staff are also extremely helpful.
It’s also great for takeaway, especially when you can’t decide what you want. It’s only open Thursday to Sunday, which is probably a good thing since I could gladly eat there seven days a week.

Perfect little place for breakfast. A little off the beaten track means a table is usually no problem. Pancakes are great, but the grill is the real winner.

Twist café is Maynooth is a gem in the heart of this university town. As the space is a little tight, you may have to wait for a table at busy times but it is definitely worth the short wait! The menu offers an extensive range of café-​type food including salads, bagels, soups, pannini & wraps. There is also a fine selection of teas, coffees and smoothies available. The food here is affordable and tasty, with the best of ingredients used. Definitely a recommendation for those concerned with eating healthily… even the fry-​up manages to not taste too greasy!!!
