Delicious! Grazie! What a wonderful meal. Had ensalata mista and the Florentine steak tonight. Split a bottle of Chianti. Finished with amazing homemade cheesecake. It was all perfect and I highly recommend

I had the Spaghetti Regina and hubby had one of the specials, a pasta with crème sauce, mushrooms and sausage. Mine was very good and his was better. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Bread wasn’t very good but no big deal. Prices were very good.

I am a gluten-free American who has been living in the pasta haven Florence for the past two years. It’s been a true joy to have Trattoria Katti in my neighborhood. I find myself here multiple times a week, especially for lunch.
The great part about this restaurant is that every morning the owner, Signora Maria, goes to the market to buy the food for the days menu. Meaning the plates are fresh and full of quality eats of the season! The steak is of exceptional quality and truly well prepared.
The prices are reasonable and it’s definitely worth what you pay for!

Durante nuestra primera tarde en Florencia habíamos empezado a pasear y pasear… y cuando llegó la hora de la cena, nos metimos en este local por la pinta de los platos que vimos en las mesas de la terraza y… fue un acierto!
El restaurante es moderno, pero muy acogedor, y el personal muy amable. Desde algunas mesas se ve todo lo que pasa en la cocina… buena noticia — por lo menos no tienen nada que esconder! :-)
Solamente pedimos un plato principal cada uno, nada de entrantes ni postres… así que de la comida puedo valorar nada más que dos platos: Penne al Taleggio y un risotto ai funghi, regado con un buenísimo vino blanco.
La pasta con la salsa de queso estaba riquísima y el risotto muy sabroso.
Por los dos platos, vino y agua pagamos 21 Euros (incl. la maldita tarifa por cubierto, aquí de 1 Euro).
Creo que Trattoria Katti es una buena opción cuando uno se encuentra en este barrio donde hay tanta selección de restaurantes (y muchos de ellos mediocres).

My husband and I came for dinner on a Tuesday night around 9 pm
The restaurant is very close to Mercato Centrale on Via Faenza
The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating
Table and bread cover charge is 2 € per person
The service was friendly but slow, there was only one waitress at that time
We ordered 2 secondi piatti
1. bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine steak), 4 € per 100 grams, we ordered 600 gm
remember when ordering this steak, about 100 grams of the steak is bone
The steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare, came with small side of garden salad
The steak at Katti is very good
2. Butter chicken, 10 €
This dish consist of 2 pieces of rather thin, pale looking chicken breasts cooked in butter, also came with small side of garden salad.
The chicken tasted okay, probably only because it was bathed in butter;)
Get the steak, pass on the chicken
