IHOP

If you want over priced welfair food come by to this location. The cooks do not even try to make the food look anything like the pictures. I ordered the Avocado and Eggs Benny, this was probably the most disgusting breakfast I have ever had. Could not even finish it. They gave me SCRAMBLED EGGS ON TOAST with sauce and veggies. Everything was served cold. Our server was really nice and is my only positive feedback that keeps this rating at a 1 star. I also complained to the MANAGER which all she had to say was «Thank you». Never coming back here again! AVOID!

1. Get the pancakes. Let’s get real, pancakes are why you’re even here, and they are legit delicious here. Any flavor you’re feeling like, IHOP will make it good.
2. Don’t get the hash browns. I was expecting something crispy, golden, and flavorful. I got a pile of soft, limp, bland potatoe shreds.

Yes I know it is an Ihop. It seems like customer service is dead. Had a granola fruit bowl. Hard to mess that up right? Terrible. Menu says it comes with low-​fat yogurt. It came with a grape flavoured kids tube full fat yogurt. When I asked to have it taken back, was told they didn’t take food back. Asked for a fruit bowl (menu item for $ 3.98) but was charged $ 9.98. When I questioned the manager he didn’t even think there was fruit bowl on the menu, then proceeded to tell me it was the wrong item, and wrong size brought to our table. The manager spoke to us in a very condescending way and made us feel wrong when they were the ones who obviously made the mistake.
Not the first bad experience with this location and their lack of customer service.
Seriously, how do you mess up a fruit bowl?

Every couple of years we make the mistake of stopping into this IHOP, hoping to have a better experience. Tonight’s was no different. I tried the mozzarella sticks and they were so greasy that I couldn’t taste the cheese. The waitress acted like I was crazy and talked down to me when I was having a difficult time choosing a breakfast, when I was in the mood for dinner. I eventually settled on the pancakes, eggs and bacon and it was ok. Unfortunately, we were the only people in the restaurant and a couple of the staff stared at us and cleaned all around our table for an uncomfortable amount of time. We’ll try to remember the next time why we don’t go there and not make the same mistake again. I would say «if you go, have breakfast and nothing else» but the breakfast is so expensive that I can’t even recommend that.

The only thing better than breakfast in bed is: a breakfast cooked by someone else on the B-​side of a day.
Today I came to IHOP for a business meeting. We didn’t have IHOP where I grew up, and I always find delight in the row of flavoured syrups (Butter Pecan FTW).
The Staff here is competent and genial. The menu is gargantuan. How can one establishment offer so much choice? Kudo’s to the Kitchen!
I don’t come here to fulfill my usual clean eating habits. I come for comfort found in fluffy pancakes, coffee carafes left on the table and an unspoken understanding that I may use the booth, unhurried for hours if I wish.
If I was Mayor of Breakfast-​Ville, all establishments would offer both kinds of hash browns. It’s the shredded, fried kind here, folks.

Fantastic place! I have absolutely no idea what some of these other reviews are talking about in regards to this location. Maybe they were expecting to be served instantly when it’s super busy? Be patient! You can’t expect to be served instantly when it’s packed!
Haha, anyway, this location has never disappointed me. Servers are always super polite and friendly, even when it’s packed in there they seem to find a way to keep smiling and be friendly and make sure you’re taken care of. Outstanding in their part!
Food is as good as IHOP can be. If you like IHOP’s menu, you’ll like this location. I recommend the Belgian waffles; super delicious!
Price is decent for what you get. No complaints whatsoever.
One thing I noticed is that the manager often comes out during peak periods and helps out with taking payments so that the servers can continue helping their customers. And he’s friendly while doing it, too!
No problems with this location at all. Maybe some of these other Unilocalers were just rude to their servers or something. No idea what the bad reviews are talking about.

Foods are okay but way expensive, e.g. a dish of Omlete with 3 pancakes the price was $ 12, we spend $ 46 for 2Adult and 2 kids for breakfast only. I think I paid more. Its up to you.

Once in a blue moon (more like once annually!) we go to an ihop in hopes of cheap brekkie. IHop at metrotown usually serves our purposes just fine, but we checked this one out as it was on the way. This location isn’t great, when being seated the hostess wandered and meandered around with us trailing her and the menus and had to be reminded she was seating us. (wth?!) then took our drink orders and got them all wrong. Server was nice, but too busy to keep us in supply of coffee and cream, and the food took 20+ minutes which seems long for eggs and pancakes. I wont be returning!

Good food… never looks like the photos! Haha
Always so busy on weekends, especially for brunch rush. Don’t be surprised to wait, sometimes for 30+ mins.
Never had a good, friendly server though. They are alright but don’t have high standards. They just take your order, deliver it, and that’s pretty much it…
I still go here regularly for breakfasts. Good food for that. Have yet to try it for lunch and probably wouldn’t risk it for dinner… I’d expect it to be like Denny’s in that regards.,

I personally don’t really care for service when I just wanna sit down and have some brunch with a friend. I mean, the waiter didn’t throw the plates down or anything, so nothing really bothered me (why would you expect KEG-​like service at a semi-​fast-​food brunch place?) anyway food was good, liked the strawberry pancakes, because they were not too sweet, and the international passport was good, liked the generous amount of fresh fruit! Willing to come back next time I need a quick bite for brunch. =)

Food was okay, service was sub standard. This location really need to hire people that care cause this guy serving us didn’t! Trust me when I say, his tip showed him how well he did!

IHOP. It is the place to go to when you really can’t think of anything else. In my case it is the place to go to when I want the Swedish Crepes. for some reason I crave those crepes at least once a year. It must be the loginberries and melting butter that draws me in every time.
