Arrived home to a very cold house after seeing family for a few days over Christmas. Called Flash Furnace late that afternoon and Matt arrived the next morning(Tues) to have a look. Repair not possible so agreed to a new furnace. Tammy came by and provided an estimate that same day. Install occurred on Thursday and by Friday I had a warm and cozy abode. So thankful the temperatures weren’t as bad as they could have been this time of year. Kudos to the Flash Furnace team, highly recommended!

Customer service isn’t just about what you do when things go right, its just as important(if not more so) how you are treated when things go wrong. My hot water tank was installed quickly and properly, things went a bit south when my main shut-off valve broke when the poor guy tried to turn it back on. This is not the fault of the installer, my house is over 100 years old, and(as i learnt from the plumber later on) that valve was installed before the 70’s so at 50 years plus, I can’t say it’s anyone’s fault it rusted away. The point is, Flash Furnace was on the phone, helping me find emergency service, calling in favours, and really just being a person at the other end of the line as I(being a first time home owner) freak the F*** out over how to resolve a domino effect of problems I don’t know who to call over. In hind sight its quite funny how everything went wrong, but at the time, Flash was there to help as much as they could and be over-all pretty rad people. Anyways, they were all awesome, and I would recommend them for any furnace/hot water tank needs. FYI, they are cheaper than home depot quoted me, for a better quality tank, and better service. Aces!

Can’t say enough good things about flash furnace! Water tank started spraying water everywhere last night, having a sleepover birthday party tonight. Called flash, they came I’m about an hour and a half(on a holiday!) and done in 2 hours, AND no extra fee for the holiday call! Saved the day :) and my daughters party. I’ll use flash forever!

…Did not think I’d be writing a review on a furnace company but here I am. Right now in the middle of troubleshooting a heating issue. Thanks to Flash Furnace I am identifying the issue first before having a tech come out if I need one. Emailed them overnight when my house furnace would not come on — looked like the Michelin man going to bed with all the layers to keep warm. Promptly received a personal and friendly reply back from Rosie. On top of that I got a call from Rosie; not to set up a time right away but to let me know a tech would be in touch to troubleshoot the issue with me first. The tech called as promised and was just as friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through the steps of — is it my furnace or is it my thermostat? He even explained it a way that made sense to some one like me who has a love /hate relationship with tools. I work in a customer service field and all too often its about completing the sale right away or focusing on price/up sells. Very impressed with Flash’s — lets work together to identify the issue and if you need us we are here for you. I’ll find out later if its something I can fix or if I need to call in the expert… and if I make that call I’m using Flash Furnace. Already told friends at the office about the experience so far. PS: My friends like the Superhero dog too! Chad

We first dealt with Aaron and Flash Furnace last year when we needed to get an inspection on our furnace. At that time I was looking for someone good to come in because we’ve had several bad experiences with bigger companies that installed our new furnace and then charged too much to fix it when it broke down in the middle of the winter several times within a couple of years of the install(not to mention«emergency charges» for calling after office hours cause we got no heat in the house at 9:00pm!). It’s hard to find someone good to help take care of your home and I was very excited to find Flash Furnace. At the time they were just starting out and I remember when I first called Rosie to find out more, she assured me that there will be none of the«we’re too big to take care of you» attitude that we got from other companies and that we will get 110% attention. And truly, we did. Aaron came out to do the inspection but instead of just checking things off the list, he went above and beyond, he also advised us why we kept having issues with the furnace shutting down(to think that two different companies have looked at our furnace before and not one mentioned that we don’t need the super heavy and the VERY expensive filter because it doesn’t let enough air through!). At the time Flash Furnace didn’t offer duct cleaning, not sure if they do now? But we had to get someone else to do it… and of course they messed something up the in the process and now we started getting noise coming from the furnace! I phoned Aaron to see if I should call back the duct cleaners and instead he came back to our house to put things back to normal. Long story short, I have found the perfect company to look after my furnace and I would strongly recommend Aaron & Rosie for their honesty, hard work and care. I think I still have my appointment for August to do the inspection, right?
